"We'll find'em. After all we're us and nothing get's in the way of determined stallions." He had no idea where he'd pulled that from but at least it sounded good. On second thought that sounded like his Dah and he wasn't sure he wanted to start doing that now.
"We can go though where he usually is and hope he's there. After all he's got to be somewhere doesn't he?"
She smiled at her son and Remy. Of course her boys could come up with a solution. "Just try to stay out of trouble while you're out there. After all you are Remy's son and it's bound to look for you." She was teasing the blue stallion beside her as usual.

"Nothin' like an adventure at your age. Ah suggest havin' lots of 'em b'fore y'get older." He snorted softly, giving his head a light toss before turning his head to look at the mare. "Ah think you was th'last thing t'come lookin' for me, Chere... That mean you some sort o' trouble?"

Antony couldn't help but chuckle at Dodger's words; they sounded an awful lot like something he'd once overheard a mare telling his father. Though he sincerely doubted it was the same context!
"Sounds like a plan, Dodger; and if nothing else we'll get a good tour of the area...and a good workout!" Considering that he usually flew, walking the distance would be something new for the pale stallion, but having a conversation partner would make all the difference. "Cross your hooves that he's about, though..."
With that, he gave his friend a devilish grin, then glanced up at the sky before turning and giving Rogue and Remy a slight bow. "Well, it's been a pleasure to meet you both, but if we're going to accomplish any finding we should see what we can do while it's light. Dad's never available after nightfall, so we're already working on a 'deadline.' That said..." There his grin turned impish, and he gave both older Soquilis a wink. "I promise I'll do my best to keep Dodger out of trouble."

The idea of crossing his hooves seemed far to silly for him to even bother contemplating doing so. After all he'd probably trip and that would be horrible.
"Could always use a workout. Walking might do you some good, make sure you don't get all plump and out of shape." He grinned at his friend before turning on his feet. "Mama ... you keep Dah outta trouble while i'm gone. And i don't need you keepin me outta any either, sides, you're gonna scare everything off before it gets to us anyway"
"You know good and well it does." She nipped him lightly before dancing back a few steps. "Horrible trouble that you just love to get yourself involved with."
She smiled back at Tony and nodded. "It was a pleasure. Tell your father i think he's raised a good son and keep mine out of trouble no matter what he says"

Giving Rogue and Remy a nod, Antony turned to Dodger and promptly stuck his tongue out, a gesture that was clearly meritted by that crack about him getting out of shape. As though such was even possible for a stallion like him!
"If anyone needs to worry about becoming flabby, it's you, Dodger; curly hair heralds a tendency towards indolence, after all, and you've got the curliest hair I've ever seen!" Teasing, Antony stepped away from the two older adults, giving Dodger a gesture with a wing so that the other stallion would know it was time to set off. "Since you're so keen on walking NOW, I hope you remember these words after a few days have gone by!"
He could be teasing, there...or he could be dead on. Hopefully Guilian would be about in one of his nearer haunts; otherwise....
Well, otherwise this would take a while. But at least there'd be company!
