Yeah, well, they think if they burn the book, their kid won't try and get a copy from the school library. Damned idiots, really. I mean, they burn the books, think their work is accomplished, and then they see a copy of the book, and then they want to burn the school-property, too!

That's kinda dumb...my mom is bad about the books but she isn't that bad...she just refuses to touch them because she refuses to touch a "thing of satan". xp

Forgotten_Death The pope isn't the only one. Over here, they've had book burnings in churches just so that their children couldn't read the book. It's stupid, really, how they burn the innocent FICTIONAL books that children read and love. Stupid.

Forgotten_Death As long as my family doesn't go psycho and take away my HP stuff, I'm good. ' Yeah my mom wouldn't let me even bring it into the house till I was 15...now i'm "old enough" to choose my own path in life she says...

Yeah, I'm 15, too. But according to my mom, I'm not allowed to do s**t until I'm 30, because that's the age when she DECIDED to stop being with her mom. Stupid b***h. My dad buys all the HP stuff.

My parents pretty much put me out on my own as soon as I turned 16...I buy all my own stuff with the money I earn so even if they didn't like it they can't do anything about it...my dad buys it for me too though sometimes.

I'm a Catholic, actually my entire family is, but it had never been an issue around the house about HP being evil or whatever. So..I guess Im lucky
