Even though I am jewish, I am in love with Japanese culture. I went to a class in 7th grade and we had to have nicknames, mine was Renko. I liked the meaning (Water Lilly Child). Kawahisa means Ancient River, my RPG character's last name. sweatdrop My friend came up with it for me.

Behatzlacha-S Old one (yossel_ochichu) came from Joseph in Hebrew and a random Japanese word I found in a book once. My new name wishes Good Luck on everyone I meet, in Hebrew, and the S stands for my last name. Massive brownie points if you work out my last name (hint: It's sweet, and cane be spelt with a Z instead.) I thought about it and the only words came to my mind were "Tzuker" (my granma talks Yidish. the meaning for that is sugar) or Zis (which means sweet, again, in Yidish)... xp anyway, my name came from the pokemon Ootachi (furret) which I use to warship for (he is very cute ^^).

Tachi, I must give you a gift for your sensible conclusion. My family's name is Zuckerman (we're of Polish/Tsarist Russian origin), but we changed it to Sugarman to seem more British a hundred years ago. I like logic games. In fact, I think I'll set a riddle thread up!

Dictator? Everyone is so Cavalier nowadays. If you wish, back then the Roundheads were Republicans and the Cavaliers were Democrats. Thus, history has recorded the Roundheads as being cruel, facist tyrants, and the Cavaliers as being foppish heroes protecting their king. I always think it's ironic that really, Oliver Cromwell set up the style of Parliament we know in the West as the Government! And he banned mince pies?
Lol.

darkphoenix1247 Alastor Cromwell My name is based off a fake name one of my characters uses in my stories. Not Oliver Cromwell, British military dictator? sad No, no, no. But the character eventually becomes something of a dictator at the end of his story arch but it's part of the grand scheme on getting revenge on his brother. Alastor was a family god of vengeance in Roman mythology and this character is trying to avenge himself against his brother, who he thinks has wronged him. Cromwell is a reference to the main antagonist of my universe, the Irish god Crom. I liked how the name 'Cromwell' made it look like 'Crom is well' and this character helped Crom for his own needs. I wouldn't name myself after Oliver.

Mine's a little weird
Uh, well my real name is Wynter, and winter is pretty quiet, so that's the 'silent' part.
Death because I'm an orphan, and I love Family Guy (heh)
Loud because it makes my username an oxymoron. I like oxymorons. 3nodding
Is makes it comprehendible

I renamed myself Skrapz after obtaining the superior form. I struck creativity and wrote a story about a girl named Scraps who was manmade, kinda like a modern day frankenstein. I wanted to change my username, but Scraps and Scrapz were already taken. I added a k and ta-da! Skrapz is also my new tagging name (Don't worry, I only do legal graffiti on canvas and my room walls)

Behatzlacha-S So why The Fabulous Prince Babel? Just got here~ The story of the Tower of Babel is one of my favorite from the Bible and Babel is a fun name. razz (Yeah, sure it means Babylon in Hebrew, but still...) It was something I made up at the spur of the moment when I wanted to change my name and I like it. (Doubt I'll be able to choose Babel as my Hebrew name when I finish my conversion...)

Can I just say that all thoughts of Oliver Cromwell being bad are false, as he allowed Jewish people back into Britain after 400 years.
