Well, it seemed to me that Dalek Sec was the only one that came to the conclusion that the Dalek race should evolve. The others objected, remember?
I got that impression too. Although this changes it a bit:

I liked this episode, despite my dad pointing out mistakes throughout it.. The first shock was them stepping out on Ellis Island...oh, I thought when Ten gets all angry when he says something like "they always survive when I lose everything" was quite good.
Martha seemed to be a bit dumb in this one..going out on stage after a pig slave..sheesh..and of course that glowing glob isn't human!
scream And the hybrid at the end was kinda freaky.
Plus the plotline with the half-pig man and the actress seemed in ways to be something like Beauty and the Beast.... 0_o
