It was when I attcked Chthonian Soldier but now it's 3100 (sorry not 2900 sweatdrop stressed ) it gets 500 attack from Mage Power and 600 attack from 3 spell counters (heavy storm, mage power, and brain control).

No. MM has 4 spell counters so it's attack is 3300.
It attacks you directly.
