Zyan felt a bit excited, aside from Ter and Narayan she had very few friends actually come over.
"Course not!" she replied tartly. "I would't let you walk me home if i didn't want you to come over in the frist place." Really, sometimes she just didn't understand people at all. Least of all boys. Well...she didn't really understand girls either...okay so everyone baffeled her at some point.
"besides, need to get myself a new shirt." she continued with a giggle.

He couldn't argue with her there... she didn't seem overly embarassed about not having one one for the moment. Perhaps she was just used to it? Maybe it was a girl thing...hard to say. Either way he kept his eye firmly averted from her, even if the -intent- was to look her in the eye, his would naturally fall back down to the bright little bra that stood contrast to her pale skin and more natural stripes.
"Well maybe one day I can return th' favor. Havin' ya over that is... Winter would go into shock if I brought over a girl just tah warn ya and Edan might scare ya a bit." He snorted, "Just ain't right for a man tah work in a flower shop."

Zyan listened intently, was Edan his father? she assumed so. And he worked in a flower shop? not a very manly profession, but she liked flowers since they attracted bugs she could catch.
"Well your pretty lucky to have someone who works in the flower industry." She commented nodding her head as if to prove her point. "Cause then you have acess to lots of flowers. And I am sure most girls like those...so you would be really popular with the ladies!" she said with a laugh, though she was not including herself in the comment it sure did sound like it.

Cody's ears pinned back slightly at the thought of it... go to Edan for a favor? Carrying flowers around to attract girls? He'd not thought of that one... he always thought that he'd just charm them, maybe learn to sing or lift something really heavy. Girls were into that weren't they? At least he hoped so. "I don't reckon I much need tah use flowers..." He scratched behind an ear, "Never did get why they're so poplar...smell good I guess but no guy should be pickin' 'em for a livin'. Even Winter does somethin' cool like trainin' animals like dogs n' horses."

Blinking she knew the flower business was a very female baised type of work. it made her sick thinking she may one day be googling over flowers but ah well.
"Winter trains animals? That is really cool." she complimented, as she then looked up and noticed her mom's car in the drive way. Ah....she would have to do her best in explaining what happened.
"Hey give me my shirt back." she said her hand out ready to recieve the bloodied up shirt. "I need it to get back in the house without my mom freaking on me."

Cody noted the car in the driveway, already calculating what kind of a story they could come up with to explain either why she didn't have her shirt or why it would be covered in blood when she walked into the house- either way Zyan would be in trouble. "Ah.... now uh..." He looked down to the shirt, sniffing a bit. Seemed the bleeding was under control though his face was a bit messy now- not that he could tell.
"Yer gonna get yerself intah trouble if ya do that... why not let me 'splain?"

Zyanya huffed and looked over to the house with a glare. "My ma doesn't take explaning well. And everytime I try I get grounded and banned from seeing the people I like." she continued as she looked back to Cody a smile then spreading on her face.
"though i am sure we can sneak in the back way..." she trailed off looking at the pathway that lead to teh backyard.
