IFeelChemical this is a very touchy subject...... if you were going by the steriotypes n not by what everyone calls you... --------------------------------- reasons why im not "emo": im not thin i dont wear skinnies im not depressed 24/7 im not gorgeous i listen to some dance music i hate dora the ******** explorer, barney, my little pony and any other childhood icon accosiated with "scene" ---------------------------------- reasons why i am "emo": i cry a lot i get hurt easily
i drawi cut, *before you get all, oh shes just after attention.... im just being honest* i listen to "emo music" allthough personally MCR ( who ive liked for 4 years) have never been emo to me..... i wear band merchi wear cons im a looser i have thick rimmed glasses im bii have black hair i wear red eyeliner --------------------------------- when people say are you emo i say no im a human are you? Ok so according to you all artists, are emo, all computer geeks are emo, all people who suit thick rims are emo and all of my bi friends are emo. That has to be the dumbest statement ever. As I've said, I not emo nor an emo supporter, but I am, a loser, who wears glasses, wears band merchandise (I am wearing a band Tee right now actually) I'm also a comic artist and am bi curious, according to you, those aspects make me emo. My god, is that such a closed minded and stereotyping statement its unreal. The stupidity of it, I can't even begin to believe that statement was made by a rational human being.

if someone did
they would be called a poser
secondly
if someone didnt or did
they will still get teased and a** kicked by anyone near by who hates them
(i hope im not getinng my a** kicked at school)

it doesnt matter if someone does or not

suposbly i am because im in a emo band a listen to the music and write songs that sound pretty emo and dress it so i dont no ppl say i am i might be i really dont care as long asa im not a gangsta or prep

the_emo_cat i do..just cuz i dont't think it's that big a deal.. all these emo kids are like 'omg,i' so not emo' ... why do you care?? you obviously are, so let people call you what they want..being called en emo kid is not an insult..case you didn't know.. rolleyes Unless your a metal head like me or Chaos A.D. or a punk like xxxZombie Porn or a delicate artiste like Isel. Then calling us emo is pretty much a guaranteed beat down.

I think its an insult when people call me emo because it is pretty much hated by the general population. And most of the time when people say it its ment to offend me.

My school is a prep school, and so I wear something black ONCE and they're all like YOu're goth! You're emo!
So what if I don't listen to rap or whatever s**t they listen to? What if I like Metal and spiked bracelets???
Once the Betch squad (thats what we call the utterly most ridiculous bitches in our grade) were clearly talking about me, and I came up to them and said, "What's so interesting?" and they're like, Mind your business, goth girl.
