Everyone I know in the real world are completely opposed to bangs. To quote my mother, "Why do you want your hair style you had all throughout elementary school??" Bangs are not popular fashion at the moment where I live. I tried getting bangs but I got bullied into getting "bangs that you can wear if you want, but can push them back, too". Most people gave me strange looks, but I had a boy come up to me and tell me shyly that he loved the fashion and designed a dress similar to the one I was wearing!! It was so cute. (Seriously, though, prom is no place for Loli's. Well, this prom wasn't. Do you know how kid's dance these days?? I had no idea!!! And the dresses... I thought one was a, um, mermaid costume... sweatdrop ) I won't be bullied again!! I will get true bangs sooooooon.... Edit: I really didn't let myself get bullied into that again! eek I'm actually pretty surprised with myself... wonderouswashu Ashes_cute_heart I'm sorry to say that, but since I'm french, the word bangs doesn't really mean annything to me sweatdrop What are they actually? parlez-vous francaise? @Ashes_cute_heart: Bangs are the same thing as fringe...I don't know, have you heard that word before? I know they do some places but I'm not exactly sure. ^^"

Oh, i do want bangs! but i want an asian place to do it (so they can cut them w/ a razor) my friend went to ********* for an asian hair style and they messed it up, i mean there good cutters but not for the hairstyke she wanted or the one i want, does anyone know of any good hairstyles who specialize in asian haircuts? THX!! heart

Nanami.x.Yuki Oh, i do want bangs! but i want an asian place to do it (so they can cut them w/ a razor) my friend went to ********* for an asian hair style and they messed it up, i mean there good cutters but not for the hairstyke she wanted or the one i want, does anyone know of any good hairstyles who specialize in asian haircuts? I adore bangs. But for some reason they really dont look good on me. Idk maybe its the way I do my makeup or my hair or something. I know this isnt my forum but does anyone have any tips on how I could get them to look good??

<333 Hmm... The only thing I can suggest is maybe putting just a bit of mousse in your hair and blow-drying it. It helps make the rest of your hair cute, too, if you kind of poof it. When blow-drying your bangs, try to use a round brush and curl your hair into it, then dry.

I love bangs, they look very pretty, but only on certain people. I'm not one of them though. The only thing I can do close to bangs is to have them grow long enough to frame my face. Right now I currently don't have bangs though.

 i support cupcakes...I've been having my bangs swept to the side, I don't think straight across bangs look as good on me when I have shoulder-length hair. I miss my bangs though D;
But I'm probably gonna wait till my hair gets longer, then I'll have bangs again :3 and eating them =]

Im sorry but i totally disagree with the whole hater bangs. Bangs look great on some people and look awful on others. Stylists are all different too. This one stylist cut my grandmas hair short because he said it was the style at the time and evey dyed it hot pink! It was horrible!!! Honestly, Bangs do take skill depending on the style. Do you know how steady your hands have to be to get strait bangs really strait! The guy who does my hair (and is a great stylist btw) spent quite a while on my bangs and in the end everyone was like OMG your bangs are soooo strait. I cut my own bangs now but to be honest they will never have that straitness that you see in movies like he does! I mean this is one persons opinion so its up to them to think whether or not they like bangs or not. I like my bangs and i like how it looks on some people. That is my opinion this is a pic of me with bangs. I have checked how i look with out bangs and i still look just as young like when I have bangs ^^lll and im actually 19 ha ha ha honest so yeah...^^lll

Bangs aren't frowned upon where I live. Most people have atleast a bit of bangs. I have bangs to the side and it takes up half my forehead. xDD

Actually, bangs are very popular where I live. A lot of the girls here have bangs, and one of the ladies who cut my hair was actually wondering if she should get bangs because I was the tenth or so girl to ask for them.
Unfortunately, the last time I got my hair cut the lady ruined my bangs, so I need to get them cut again.

I don't see why people don't like bangs! o.o
They're super cute, and it looks a lot better to have bangs when you tie your hair up... I've had bangs since about 18 months, and I'm really attached to it... keeps my forehead warm too xD
I do get annoying questions, Almost all people I meet ask me "are you emo?"
First of all, what does it matter if I am or not? (I'm not.)
Second of all, Just because a person has bangs doesn't mean you can just assume they're emo! I was asked if I were emo a day or two ago, by three "plastics" as I like to call them (slaves to Dolly magazine and Hollywood.) and I wasn't wearing "emo" clothing (Bleached jeans, army jacket and a white blouse..) so they basically assumed I was emo just because I have bangs. Some girls at my school have slight bangs, usually to the side, but they have the blonde streaks which automatically kills their emo potentioal, apparently.
