A large pack of nine modifoxes scampered along the beach, all kicking up sand, but only some having a good time doing it.
Chaussure sprinted ahead as she spotted Loki.
Shiranui looked around for any her "daughter" or her mate.
Panda-chan sighed as he looked for some shade.
Kure followed him, and playfully poked him in an attempt to get him up.
Kage put her nose in the air to try and catch the scent of Dorchet or anything burning that would probably result in finding him.
Hikari's head swiveled as he looked for Jin and he continued walking.
Panic! began looking backwards to watch his footsteps be swallowed by the ocean.
Kira stopped frequently to dig a hole in the warm sand, or splash some other fox.
And Amaterasu pulled up the rear, trying not to get herself wet.

Loki looked around and spotted Chaus. He ran over to her, nuzzling her cheek. "I've missed you."
Jin blushed as she noticed Hikari nearby. She didn't attempt to hide herself from view though, which was something to be proud of. Instead, she walked up to him. "Looking for someone?"

"From what brother told me of how he planned the tribe to be, become it became official, I do not believe that he intended for it to become fully nocturnal. Yet that is what happened. Although I suppose that could change, as their numbers grow. If their numbers grow."
From what she had heard, there had only been one fox to join brother's tribe who was not part of the original group, although there had been talk of a few others joining as well. She did not know if those two or three others had become official members, though, or if they had gone other ways.

Rae blinked at that. She had wondered about the size of Lunarie a while back, seeing no change in their numbers. Apparently things hadn't changed much. She thought about Kousestu and Bamboo for a moment, and realized something. "Perhaps that is a blessing in disguise for Lunarie. I have yet to meet some of the foxes who are in my tribe. Things can be harder for a large tribe."

"You mean the family reunion thing? Not that often. But it's fun to watch." Isis replied back Jin. He watched as Amor went to spy on them. "He's got the right idea, but he'll probably get his tail chewed off..."
Danzo twitched and pawed Sheik lightly. "Mmph..."
"You have to stop sleeping buddy." Isis said and poked him sharply in the stomach.
"GAH!" Danzo sat up wildly.
"So why do we have to leave from everyone else?" Twilight asked innocently to her mom.
Heartbreak sighed, and looked at her in the eyes. "If we were to discuss it there, it would've cause the other Modifoxes to be uncomfortable." She glanced at her other daughter and her father before staring down at the sand. "Now why did you two come here?"

Danzo stood up and yawned. "I know. Isis did it. You're too cute..."
"Hey!" Isis glared at the purple Modifox. "Are you still drowsy or something?"

Sheik smiled inwardly, with his usual calm and practically emotionless facade up. "Thanks?...I'm Sheik, by the way." He dipped his head in greeting.

Danzo blinked at gazed at Sheik intently. "Sheik? That's nice. I'm Danzo."
Isis took one more look at Danzo and Sheik before scampering off.
Danzo watched Isis run to the water's edge. "What's he doing now?"

"Me and Daddy? I just wanted to go to the beach, and then Daddy wanted to come with. I didn't know that there would be so many others here!" This had to be the most modis she had seen in one place. It was way bigger than Daddy's tribe!
"So what are we discussing Mom?"
Ari was content to let his daughter do all the talking. He felt so awkward around Heartbreak, and Twilight, the daughter he barely knew. It was hard to believe those two were family, yet Twilight's resemblance to him was unmistakable, in the same way Sigal looked so much like her mother.
"I suppose they could be. Brother seems discontent with how his tribe has not grown, though. How fare the other tribes? I have not been to see any of the others, bar my brief visit to the Kousetsu lands, and have not had word of their events. I suppose I ought to visit the Lazuli Tribe. Because brother's daughter will not join his tribe, he hopes that she will join the Lazuli Tribe, where his best friend lives."
The talk of tribes was merely idle talk for Rina. She had heard enough of the other tribes when they were first formed to know that none of them were her place. The Kousetsu Tribe had come closest, and she had even taken the time to visit. But even there was not her calling. But perhaps only later would she find where she belonged. Or perhaps it was her fate to belong in no one place, and simply keep wandering, not tied to anything. She would not mind to continue this wanderer's life of hers.

Rae shrugged. "I hope his tribe is blessed during the breeding season, then." She thought hard for a moment. "I'm afraid I know little of the other tribes. Bamboo continues to grow rapidly, but other than that, I cannot say." She knew this conversation was on the verge of dying, and wondered what else to talk about. "Tell me about yourself, Rina. I know you have no ties to any tribe, but I'm curious as to why."
Miki walked throught the unfamiliar beach, seeing many unfamiliar faces. She was eager to go up and greet someone, but needed to decide on who first!

"I hope so as well. There are at least two pairs in brothers tribe whom plan to breed, that I know of." Rina would not name names, however. That would just be disrespectful of the privacy of those mates. If they were blessed with children come breeding time, Rae could find out who they were then.
"I simply do not feel the call to join any of them. Brother's tribe follows the moon fox, however, I do not feel any call from such a being. Nor did I feel any call in the Kousetsu lands to remain there while I visited. The Bamboo Tribe and the Lazuli Tribe, while nice, do not appeal to my nature. And I am far too uncreative to join the Sanguine Syndicate."
Rina did wish to perhaps visit the Sanguine Syndicate some day, however. They seemed to be a most interesting tribe, and even though she was not creative enough to become one of their numbers, she would like to take time to enjoy their art, should the members of the Sanguine Syndicate permit such a thing.
