Eira is a little confused about how this rouge has a network of cutthroats at his command but suddenly remembers, 'we were all to be hung for crimes against the crown'.She thinks to herself some (this man in particular) may have had quite a reasonable excuse to be on trial. She mostly shrugs it off however, realizing that at this point any help may be quite useful in the next couple days.
In addition, since the conversation seems to have shifted slightly, and assuming my familiar is close enough for this to work, I'd like to use my empathetic link to see if I have any idea where he currently is...

Aleran "So I will get my conoseirs (butchered, but i think you understand the word) of questionable legality? And of course they will be used against foes." "As long as they are not truely illegal (murder and such), yea."

The familiar is at the back end of the room, currently slightly overgorged on food offered it by the keepers, but unhurt and unrestrained.

She feels a bit silly for having to put effort into noticing him so close by, and wonders slightly how she didn't notice earlier, but disregards these thoughts happy to know he's here, and quite alright... and a bit overfed.
She lets him continue eating for now. and returns her attention to the conversation, feeling she shouldn't miss anything right now, and not wanting to interrupt the king's little discussion about this rouge making use of these bandits he seems to know.

"Splendid, now that we are in agreement, When do we start? And Where do we go? or atleast where do I, seeing as the others have yet to accept you fruitful offer."

Having seen the end of the conversation. Eira states, "Perhaps I was a bit less than direct a moment ago, but I thought had agreed... Nevertheless, I too accept your offer. I hope I will provide you with service up to your expectations."

"Indeed, we be at an agreement. The others seem lax to wake... In truth, ye'll be going where ye need, but that'll be up to certain things... The attack force is slowly moving from the south east, the have mostly light units and archers. The terrain includes a lake, a few kettle ponds, and sparse woodland. They are three days march from the nearest town. Any ideas o' yers?"

Eira pipes in after the kings comment and says, "well... as you stated elves have a preference for wooded areas and the like, so may prove to our advantage if we can keep then away from such places, as well as the nearby town of course. If we can find a way to keep them in the open or next to the water, it may help. with water to your back, you rarely have anywhere to go.
How we accomplish this however is still in question... May I ask just what we have to work with, beside ourselves and the (pause thinking of a word) associates, of this rouge. Or must we work this out ourselves?

"Ahhh...Most wonderful, water is a common habitat for rats and rodents of many kinds (except squirrels for which no residence is common unless they wish it to be) such as those that commonly inhabited my homelands, there were plague rats, and shrewd yet docile voles, unwholesome bats with leathery wings, the occaisional capibara, fish, birds, and many many others that we used for all sorts of things like food and water and shelter and clothes because we always followed the wonderful, yet ancient old mysterious wise and solmn proverb that 'one should never cast aside from one's direct path of resources all the things that one finds along one's path in life for then if he did he shall most assuredly as the rains will come and go want to find those things again in his hours of need, for fate and her kin have a grim smile which they keep at all times to strike fear into the hearts of those that wear the smile of the fool whom jests and jokes, though for those prepared with the things they recieved along the path and did not cast aside, fate has a smile of warmth and prosperity that nourishes the seeds planted by those which are prepared and fail to throw away needed things which they did not think were needed" which also goes by the much less elegant, but equally well put phrasing you are probably familiar with which goes, as I have read:"Waste not, Want not" though how someone could EVER remember such a short and almost insignificant sized phrase is beyond comprehension, unless one were to remember the more complex version first and work his way down, though that is aside of my main point which is to ask if you are perhaps making good use of the fauna of the region as an attack force against the enemies of his most royal and humble, yet wise and great majesty?
If not I can say I am mildly skilled in the handling and training of animals as well as...modifying them to a small extent, and likewise providing relevent information in regards to advantages and disadvantages of various creatures' biological makeups, information that could prove most useful in combat...I even recently acquired some marvellous artistic talent for making notes on the anatomy of such beasts and bipeds by comparing notbooks with a curious red headed child with goggles I met while studing a peculiar gateway in some ancient ruins near my homeland, though he was a singularly odd child for he carried a good deal of metal on him, which is silly for it is not practical for someone to need so much metal in so many strange shapes..."

Eira looks to the king and rouge and says, slightly more quietly than she had spoken a moment ago, "Is there something wrong if I understood most of that?"

Thanatos looks around the room, dumbfounded. And in a whisper he replies to Eira "yea that is a problem, how do you know what that thing is saying." and then louder Thanatos says, "Fluffy, for us who were not graced with an unsurpased intelligence, and need to use big words, could you add a summary at the end of your silioquys?" (i really need to learn how to spell...curse you gaias lack of spellcheck).
