Lois is really skanky she seems to be nothing more then a slut in the show.
WOW, that offends the feminist in me.
I don't consider any of the female characters on the show to be sluts or to be easy. Lois has had two boyfriends, counting AC and Oliver, neither of whom she has slept with as far as we know. She went undercover as a stripper back in Exposed because Chloe talked her into it (and she loves her little cuz), and in Combat because that was was the best undercover identity to serve her purpose. She flirted with Athena to get out of a tight spot, and to pretend that she's on the show for sex appeal alone is really naïve.
I seem to be in the minority of people who think Lois's journey is just as important as Clark's and Lex's, and a lot more important than Lana's. I don't feel that it has to be intertwined with Clark's or Lex's, or like she has to push either of them towards their respective "destinies" because it's just as interesting to see how Lois Lane became the ace reporter we all know from the comics as it is to see how Clark Kent became Superman.
In season four we had a little exploration of her backstory and the set-up for her future relationship with Clark. Although season five was almost bankrupt for her, we did get some glimpses of her coping as a campaign manager and as a chief of staff to the senator, as well as her ability to go undercover convincingly. In season six, Lois finally has an arc of her own that's all about pushing
her foward, albeit fraught with crappy jokes and a wishy-washy unconsummated "rivalry" with Chloe, and people are saying she's only there to be a slut? That really, really offends me.
I'm not saying Lois is being perfectly handled, because she isn't. However, the moments where she's supposedly acting slutty are being played for humour as much as they are for sex, and they're in character for the domineering reporter we know in other incarnations. To overlook all that just because you don't like her as a character is just unfair.
