I dunno. She was weird. Like the kind of chick who smokes pot cause it's cool and wears black for the same reason.

@ eekay (I can't remember if you had a nickname you wanted us to use ._.): I'd rather they call him a goth than an emo- goth seems to have gain a little bit of credibility in face of the advent that is 'emo'.

Anyway.
on the subject of "emo" and every thing that seems to come with it,
I think that it's kind of human nature to label things. But when you take it past a simple quick passing thought and actually turn it into discrimination, then that's wrong. I mean...in all honesty, I hate labels and prejudging people as much as you guys, but I still kind of do it. I just try not to put too much thought past it. Just because I look at someone and go "Oh they dress like this" doesn't mean I'm going to start judging them as a person. So I guess I judge their clothes...but not in a good or bad way more in an observational sort of fashion.
I'm rambling and I don't even know if what I just said is coherent.
Basically...labeling IS a stupid thing to put to much thought into. It doesn't matter if you're emo or gangsta or punk or whatever.
Just be what you want to be and let those around you be who they want to be.
Just because in my head the first time I meet you I go, wow they look emo, doesn't mean that every time I interact with you I'm going to assume that you will start cutting yourself.
So I guess I kind of...observe what trend you dress up like and then move on.
I don't know if I make sense.

You're right, it is in our nature to judge people when we first meet them. I know I do. But it's when people refuse to look past that initial impression, or change their minds, that's when it makes me want to smack my head into a wall.

Bwahahaha! I just finished my one pound bunny. I AM THE MASTER OF CHOCOLATE BUNNIES! NO ONE POUND BUNNY CAN THWART MY EFFORTS TO EAT IT! I've been eating that thing since Easter... I feel so accomplished now. Yay me! I still have a small pile of easter chocolate left, even after Matt 'helped' me with some of it. Oh well, more chocolate for me.
