Raum didn't look back and moved forward again. " i know Yiska." his voice was a whisper as he inched more and more towards the bush. little did he know that what he was in for a suprise.once his nose was near the bush, he gave a loud sneeze cause the bush tickled his nose. from behidn the bush came a rabbit bolting from the bush liek a mad man. jumping back and huffing with a glare in surpise, he had not expected a rabbit to be what was scaring them.

Letting out a high pitched squeal, Yiska fell to the ground and covered his head with his front legs. That was surely unexpected, even if it was just a rabbit. His ears lay flat against his head as his litlte heart raced.

Raum jumped again from the high pitched squeal from Yiska and tried to let out a growl but it came out all wrong. " hey what was that all about! you almost made me scared with your girl squeal." glaring, he huffed and tryed to calm down as his heart raced like mad. the rabbit had given him a scare and it didn't do any good that he had jumped about because of Yiska's squealing. " lets go if you done being a chicken." oh he wasn't gonna admite he had gotten scared too.

Yiska opened one eye to peek out from underneath a thin leg. He watched the rabbit hop away as it chittered. With that he let out a small sigh and lay there on his stomach for a moment, ears still tucked back against his head. "I didn't know what it was...." Tilting his head for a moment, he eyed Raum before scrambling to his hooves. "Besides...it looks like you almost fainted." Yiska teased Raum lightly, giving him a wry grin.

" i never would faint!" Raum huffed and tossed his little mane. " atlest i didn't squeal and try to hide." he then walked over to Yiska and tugged on his mane. " come on theres gotta be somethgn more interesting than a bunny." letign go of Yiska mane after one last tug,he smirked and waited for Yiska to get up to they could explore more.

He gave a small snort to Raums retort to his tease. "It's better than fainting." As Raum tugged on his short mane, he gave a little gruff grunt before trying to n** at the other's ear. "Yea....Just....lets hope nothing else pops out unexpectidly."

Raum grunted a the ear n** and was so use to it from his brother and specialy is sister nippign his ear. his ear tiwtch from the pain of it though but quickly settled. " yeah lets hope nothign else does." snorting, he oved forward knowing Yiska would follow. if anythign else jumped it might be tiem they tryed heading back.

Yiska bounded up next to Raum, following closly. Who knew what else was out there in the trees and bushes! He started to hum lightly as he picked up his legs into a cant. Tail swishing back and forth wildly as his humming got a bit louder.

Raum snorted and trotted while Yiska seemed to be bouncign along beside him. it was true they would never know if something else might pop out of them that was worse than a rabbit. ears twitichign it seemed Yiska's humming was getign louder and Raum wondered why. " hey wats with that noise your making?" not even stopping he kept moving forward.

As soon as Raum spoke, Yiska instantly stopped humming. "Oh. It's just a small tune that my mama sings to me sometimes. It makes me feel safe." He gave an affirming nod as he continued to trot along, though he didn't start his humming again.

Raum still walked and nodded more to himself. " oh...." was all he reasponded with sicne he didn't want to say it actualy did make him feel less scared cause then he would have to admit he was. shakign his head, he puffed up his chest and contiuned forward even though it was getign dark and creepy.

Yiska glanced up towards the tall canopy of the forest. Through the small breaks in the leave and branches, he noticed that the sky was starting to grow daker. The forest shadows also seemed to grow longer and merge together into strange shapes. He turned his head towards Raum and cleared his throat. "Hey..uh...it's getting pretty dark isn't it?"

Raum stopped and looked up. he now noticed it really was geting late and dark. looking at Yiska he nodded. " .... yeah it is so i guess we shouldgo back." looking around again, he tryed to figure out which way to go. after the scare they had just not to long ago it had caused him to forget which way to go. "...... uh i hate admiting this but ummm i dont knwo which way we should go to get back." looking about like crazy, he hoped Yiska remebered and if not they where lost.

Eyeing Raum for a second, he gave a small chuckle. "Mama says that whenever you get lost just look for your tracks and follow them back home." Circling around, Yiska eyed the diry and leaves on the ground until he found what he was looking for. Small hoof prints in the dirt. "See, if we just follow these we should be able to find our way back. Come on!" And with that the colt started to follow the tracks backwards, keeping his nose to the ground so that he wouldn't loose them.

Raum wrinkled his nosed a bit annoyed he didn't know that little trick. " Alright i'm coming." grumbling a bit to himself he went after Yiska. of course he had to be glad that Yiska had known this trick but also was mad that his father hadn't taught him this kid of thing so he was gonna bug his father to teach him stuff.
