for hiscores I either use my initials or my first name, depending on the # of spaces
For online username stuff I use Lady Rayya
for anything else, I use:
FEMALE: Lorelei, Silvilya
MALE: Brand, Boru, Rhysiart

The first time I play through a game, I usually use the original name. If I play it ver again I sometimes choose different names, no preference.
My high score names depend on what I think of first.

I usually use the default, but sometime with a chick character I use Aurora Ebonrain. For high scores I just use my initials.

I might use my initials, or half of my name (my name is long, so half of it only fits). Although I very rarely use different names, only when I don't know the character's real name, but in that case I use normally either Fantasy or Chrono. Those are my 2 faves

Ah, use real names with characters, couldn't tell them apart if'n I need an FAQ later.
My gamer tag? Spike (or Wolf sometimes)
If it uses three letters, then I just use the first three letters of my name: TIF
Simple and easy, yes?

Hmm, when I first play a game through it's the default names, when I play it again centuries later I'll sometimes change the names. For high scores I use my initials.

i use different names every time i play the game. i randomly pick a name i think is cool and us it. my fav lately is Shade or Ruka for girls but i never play as boys that often so i just wing it

Grimm, lady grimm, Miladygrimm....depending on what's alowed.
I got this name from the twisted metal series....Mr.Grimm....I played him all the time and Grimm became my title.

For High scores, I try to use my initials, but they all don't usually fit.
And for games, I try to use the characters real names, unless I'm making my own. Then i'll give it my name.

I usually keep the default name because I'm too lazy to think of other ones and most likely I'll get confused. But for my name I use Kaylove (my nickname).

For in- game naming, I keep the characters' given
names. Or, if they haven't been chosen, I'll either
use the video game's random generator and pick
my favorite options, or make them up as I go.
Also, for high- score ranking, it depends because
I use a variant of my RL name for the non- record
standing and my pen- name, if there's a ranking
system that'll follow me around.
But ehh, everyone's different and I'm certainly a
kooky one. smile

I usually have a set few names I'd always name my characters. That and...well, to me they don't seem to be gender-related.
Rumi/Rumil or Zen. When there's a place I need to name (ex: town/farm, etc) it's usually called Maeglin. XD They're pennames and Zen's my real name, which seem like a penname anyways, so... it doesn't matter.

Depends on the game. Arcade games, I use a "1337" version of my name, since my friend pointed out that my name is ENTIRELY in 1337 and started using it when I'd just forget to put in the high scores.
On in-game naming, I use the default name.
But for RPGs such as Oblivion, I use my WoW character's name (Nhiilaa or Nhiiler) because I think it's purdy. :]
