Demon_of_Elru Might as well speak up and say that Kou's idea could be fun. I was in the other RP where he was setting it up, and it seemed pretty entertaining. Yamata-no-Jivatma was shaping up to be a truly entertaining villian. Maybe not someone so evil you hated him, or memorable for the right reasons, but he was...interesting. The whole plot was going to be goofy, in a fighting game sort of way. Anyone else have input on any of these ideas tossed around here? I'd say we need to do at least something that involves spying or characters working for more than one side/faction. Several of the things mentioned recently have potential for such, so a lot of us would probably enjoy it. What if the military group started to recruit/bribe/blackmail members of the X-men and Brotherhood to spy on thier team-mates?

Alot of the brotherhood members would just blow it off as one of those things they would do later and it would never get done, that's what would happen. 3nodding

It also might be a bit too shady. These guys should probably accept the X-Men as a good thing (vigilantes, yes, but at least they aren't running around sashing things) and might keep a close eye on the Brotherhood. They can probably send their own operatives, if necessary.
I'd say, that as the idea was to make a grey-area faction (we're from the government, and we deal with waht mutants do, but we aren't out to oppress them), blackmail and bribery would be out. Now, recruiting people and expecting them to help on watching potentially dangerous groups because they're of the right age to infiltrate them, I could see.

I would think it would be cool to add a few npc members to each side that were actually undercover agents but otherwise there is little I can think of. But then, that would mean the agency would have to allow mutant members inside which would be odd.

Er, Demon_of_Elru mentioned that some of the members of the group ARE mutants, so it's not that odd.

I think that the Brotherhood needs to spotlight plot-wise for a little while, don't you guys agree? I had intend the Pyro-thing for everyone regardless of alliance, but I guess I underestimated the power of extreme lack of caring on their part.
That's just one thought I had to get out there. So far, we seem to have a lot of spiffy, plot-workable ideas, and now I think it's simply picking one and running with out. Expanding on the government ops, would probably be a good place to start.

Will the feds be considered another joinable faction? Like could i possibly create a character for them or will they be considered NPCs?

Well, it's not my call, but I'd allow it. No reason not to, after all.
I should make a few characters for them myself, actually. Even if they're only NPCs, a few guys with actual names and histories would be useful, no?

For the most part I'd concider any character thats used to infiltrate either group to be playable. The organisation however as a whole would be more NPC'ish because we don't want to over use the group as a whole.

InUyAsHa_muttface Why don't we just reenact episodes like we did with The Cauldron plot? Or the Apocalypse episodes? i like that it was fun doing the cauldren plot ill se wahe epposoide might work mrgreen

Ok the other night I finally saw Sweeney Todd: THe demon barbor of fleet street. DSL = I can download movies again.
Anyways! I was thinking as a funny aha type of plot thingy that we could have our characters/characters of evo go to school one day and find out that the school was putting on a musical play and come to find out that their leaders (Xavier and Mystique) as a joke signed both teams up to be in it together and it would be Sweeney Todd. I could probably easily find the script if I really looked hard enough.
I dunno I haven't thought it out completly but it seemed like it would be like a fun side plot just to see what would happen if the X-men and Brotherhood were made to have to get along.

what about twisting that to an even deeper plot? like the characters have to play their part at certain times to get out of an alternate reality they've been trapped in.
