Ahneta scanned the room, her eyes pausing briefly on each person she saw. A faint smirk crossed her face as her eyes traveled, before finally setting on Ariko.
The cold eyes didn't dissuade her at all, and she took the lead with the woman, heading straight for Ariko.
"Excuse me...we're here to pick up the paperwork for adoption,"
A polite smile on her lips, yet her eyes seemed strangely mocking. The impression she got didn't intimidate her at all - but then, Ahneta was more used to being the one to intimidate, rather then the intimidated.

The lab caused Eri a touch of worry, as she'd heard such conflicting things about such places, but she didn't want to say anything here. Such matters were to be kept quiet around others who you didn't know well yet.
On the other hand, Eri was quite pleased that Ahneta seemed to be taking control of the situation, meaning that she didn't have to attempt to assert herself in this strange situation. Ahneta was quite capable-- another trait that reminded Eri of her mother and her aunts.
Ariko simply motioned to the papers at the edge of the counter, already laid out for the three women with clipboards and everything. "Fill those out and return them."
Eri took one of the clipboards and skimmed the pages before beginning to follow the instructions, filling it out.

Taking one of the remaining clipboards, Ahneta found a place to sit (or rather, perch, since it was on the desk), and began to peruse them. And after a few moments, she began to fill them out.
Occasionally, she would pause and chuckle at something known only to her, but she didn't speak.
Eventually, she completed all of the information, and turned the paperwork back in.
"All done."

On the paperwork, Ahneta specified that the cabbage should be delivered; she didn't quite have the time to stick around to pick one up now. Besides, it was much simpler not having to worry about transporting a vegetable/to-be child around.
So, offering a jaunty wave to the other women, she left.
((xDD Figured I'd wrap this up for her, so she can actually get things moving...))
