Galbon rushed a four Orc cluster by surprised and scattered their formation with his scimiters. He ran over and thrusted his left scimiter forward aiming for the orc's heart. The orc parried but he was not fast enough to stop the right scimiter from sliping past his defence and slicing his stumich open. The orc fell with a scream and the one orc ran off into the woods. The other two grouped together and moved towards Galbon with their swords ready to strike. Galbon posed his blades in a defencive stance.

Having narrowly avoided several groups of orcs, Kareswen hastily fumbled with the reins roughly tethering her horse. They hadn't discovered him yet but she wasn't ready to run the risk of him being carried off as a meal. Freeing the reins, she quickly put one leg into a stirrup and vaulted into the saddle. She heard an orc scream close by and she wheeled the reluctant horse around to find one of the orcs approaching her at a run. She drew her sword and directed the horse into a canter with her knees.

((All the control is in your calf muscles while riding.))

Allaire ran as she heard the grumbles of many other orcs and beasts coming her way. The last thing she wanted to do was run into the center of where they were camping. Luckily, her horse came into view and it was in a trot before she managed to swing onto it's back, sword in one hand and reigns in the other. She pushed the horse into a fast canter away from the dark sounds of her foes.

One of the two orc rushed forward wanting to take the kill of Galbon for himself, with his sword arm wide not paying bothering with a balanced attack. Galbon easily dodge the blade and used the hilt of his left scimiter to knock the orc down. He then followed up with rushing the fallen orc and diving his blade intot the orc's back.

((Cheers.))

Kareswen rode straight at the orc but her horse, unused to warfare, side-stepped before he reached it, refusing to co-operate and as she was still fighting the horse for control when it reached them, the orc knocked her sideways from her horse onto the ground. She rolled sideways, narrowly avoiding the blow aimed at her head and moved into a fighter's crouch.

The stench of orc still invaded Allaire's senses as she made it to a less dense part of the woods making it easier for her horse to menover (sp?) without flaw. Finally, the forset ended, but Allaire only gripped her sword tighter as the sight of many flames invaded the path. A troop of orcs- perhaps 50- were marching, and in her direction where they approching gradually. Allaire thought, for the decision had to be made quickly. If she were to go back, there was a camp, and it was in the opposite direction she wished, but forward held another obsticle. Forward it was. The half-elf kicked the gray horse back into a quik canter as she positition more to the outer rim of the troop only to hope for no interference as she passed.

Galbon turned to the last orc. The orc was weilding a club that had seen better days. Galbon rushed forward and sliced the club in half with his left scimiter and slashed a his right across the orcs throut. The orc fell to the ground clutching his throut unable to stop the life blood from spilling.

((manoeuvre))

Kareswen, still winded after her fall, shakily blocked the next blow and launched a feeble counter attack while she climbed to her feet. A second orc appeared and with her back against a tree, she paused to regain her breath a little while warding off the two orcs. Her lip was bleeding and the sight of the blood seemed to excite the orcs into a frenzy of attacks that had more enthusiasm than skill. She avoided them easily but the attacks were too close together for her to have room to form a proper counter-attack.

((Sounds French.))

A cry came from an orc as the horse's hooves could be heard pounding ont eh ground. A twang was heard only for Allaire to faintly dodge a black arrow fired by an orc. She had been spotted. She gripped her sword, her hair whisping behind her as she rode farther away from the group of orcs, soon to leave them behind. She had made it through, but it seemed a little too easy...

Galbon rushed through the woods in search of orc keeping his distance from any shadows that moved through the woods.

Kareswen ducked sideways from a particularly vicious blow from her right but the reflex brought her straight into the path of the other weapon. She dodged but a stinging pain in her left arm showed where her reactions had been too slow. She could feel the blood running down her arm, but luckily the second orc was now between her and the first. She drove her sword into his torso and as the life in his eyes flickered and died she wrenched it free in a shower of blood. The orc fell forward, surprise still on its features, and Kareswen was left confronting the second orc.

Allaire yellped in pain as her horse reared, fighting of a warg and sending her flying to the ground for the second time that night. She pulled out her sword, her eyes sparkeling with fury, and lunged her sword out at the beast as it jumped into the air. The animal fell hard to the ground, blood spilling from its stomach and some on Allaire's face. She wipped her brow with her sleeve, breathing deeply. Another cry was heard from a distance and a growl. Allaire took off, looking for cover. She had to wait till dawn.

A Long ways away, The combatants could hear the whine of a Horse closing in. But Upon hearing the Whine, The orcs began to look suprised as a figure in Black and gold Armour, riding a Black Horse rod into view. The Figure seemed to be holding a large sword as he rod in.

((I have almost no idea whats hapening, so I'm just going to do a slightly random post))

Venerah walked speedily in the wild.(That is where we are...)She was hunting. She looked around as she crouched around. Suddenly, she heard something aproching. She crouched lower with a bow at the ready. An orc, She thought. I havn't seen one in years...

Kareswen side-stepped the last orc, guts spilling across the grass after her last blow, and tried to coax her horse to let her remount. She seemed to notice her anxiety and backed further and further away as she approached. Kareswen cursed and angrily made a lunge for the bridle but the horse adroitly avoided her, sending her sprawling.
