Andre thought for a moment. He was sure when Phia and him were in colege, Phia wanted to be a doctor. With the world's current demand, doctors, nurses, and surgeons were in high demand. It just sounded a bit fishy to him that the hospital administration would let one of their employees go. ...that is if Phia made it to that profession.

"Really? She wanted to be a doctor. Isn't she working in a hospital?"

"Can I ask for a time estimation? Or how's about you tell me what's really going on?"

Being a lawyer, Andre could tell by the tone of anyone's voice that they were hiding something. Guess I'll go into prosecutor mode again. He was concerned for Phia though. She didn't seem like the type to take vacations off. He always saw her as a person who cared about saving lives even if they were strangers to her.

Joel: *he sighed heavily* Look buddy, I'm not even sure If I can tell you whats going on all that I know is she's fine...Reason why I cant tell you anything is because I'm not I believe it myself...When she comes back I can have her call you...

Andre raised an eyebrow as he heard this. Hmm... what does he mean? Andre relaxed a bit. He knew he wasn't going to get anything else from the guy.

"Alright, have her call me then. Bye." Andre said, waiting for him to hang up before he did. He didn't like how the situation sounded for some reason.

Andre stared at his cell phone a bit. Of all the people he knew, he didn't want to call anyone else. He wanted to talk to Phia for some odd reason. He felt some connection towards her even though he hasn't seen her since he graduated college two years earlier than her. He was older by like 1 or 2 years.

He sighed, getting up and putting his charger on his cell phone. He hung up his coat in his closet and put his tie away. He then hopped in the shower and pratically stayed there for almost an hour, letting the hot water run down his body. He felt diofferent for some reason and he wasn't sure why.

Andre stepped out of the shower with a towel over his shoulder and around his waist. He paused at the bathroom door and looked around his apartment. He never realized how big his apartment was and how forlorn it seemed until now.

"Lived alone since college." He said, trying to convince himself, "Can't feel lonely now. I should be used to it by now."

The loneliness still crept in on him though as he dressed, only wearing a pair of sweats. A bit frustrated with the feeling he took his iPod and started listening to the huge vareity of music he had on it before making himself something to eat.

Joel: *he sat up and walked into the kitchen in little more then a pair of boxers, he moved aside the bottles of vodka and various other alcohol Phi insisted were to be kept there and found a box of chow mein. he closed the fridge door with his foot as he retrieved a fork from a drawer, and plopped down on the couch, it had almost been two weeks since Phi left with that man...what was his name again? D....strange name...must be more to it then that... and they have a kid....wow... The day after Phi left, Joel called the hospital to make up some stupid lie like family emergency but they said her name had been cleared from the list, that she had transfered to an unlisted hospital. Joel sighed... Phi's room stayed the same, it wasnt like he really needed to live with anyone else. But it was lonely somewhat....*

After his meal, Andre sat around his living room, lounging on his couch. His eyes moves around the room and finally rests on a picture of his parents who were purely amazingly Asian. Specifically Japanese decent. His mother side had members with albinism. Yet he looked completely different then them, but maybe it was due to his environment. Darwinian theory obviously.

Although they were the Rei family, Andre's parents changed his names completely due what happened during World War II and didn't want Andre to face the same prejudice that they did when they were young. It was funny though since that was where his parent met and got together. His parents were now living comfortably though in California.

"California...." He whispered with an absent mind. Andre intially grew up in California in Silicon Valley and went to law school in New York. He considered going home, but it didn't quite appealed to him at the moment.

Joel: *he got up and went and got dressed in jeans a red-shirt and a back zip down hoodie over it, he pulled on some sneakers and walked out of the aparment into the hall, taking the elevator to the bottome floor and out into the street*

Andre was restless at this point right now. There was nothing to do. He didn't have any vacation plans. He didn't feel like going home in California. He sighed as he put on a tank tops, his sneakers, and a sweater before heading out for a run to Central Park.

Joel: *he sighed and checked his watch He'd be meeting some friends for shopping in about a half hour*

Andre began his jog in Central Park. The huge park would give him a good work out and occupy him for the time being. His mind began wandering to his past. From the time he was young all through college he was in some sort of sports.

He started as a gymnast first. His neighbor was a gymnastics coach and babysitted Andre when he was able to walk. His neighbor began coaching him during that time and Andre's been in several competitions since then. He almost made it to the Olympics, but due to a family emergency he missed his chance and decided the Olympics wasn't for him.

Other than gymnastics, Andre also loved running and wrestling. He was Captain in cross country, track, and his wrestling team. Most of his college scholarships were sports scholarships, hardly any academic scholarships. But those scholarships was what took him to college in New York. He always wanted to go to New York. It had its beauty, but also an ugly side. It was nothing that Andre couldn't live through though.

Andre prided himself with his perfect athletic body. He always found muscles intimidated anyone. It was also a key ingredient on the court though. Most lawyers weren't physically fit and the general stereo type that all muscle men were stupid did work to his advantage. It discouraged man of his opponents when they finally realized they underestimated him

Andre paused as he reached a water fountain and began drinking. He straighten himself up and began stretching. He found himself looking up into the sky and remembered how he felt on the floor during his vaulting event. How high he flew. He remembered the feeling. The freedom, the intensity, the feelings he missed that couldn't be felt on the court floor.

He turned his head back down and he began running again.
