kemenlith Oh yeah.... uh, what would you say/ do to me if you knew I had the 'Billy Hatcher' game? Speaking for myself: I've never played it, so I'd wonder what your opinion of it was. smile

As I recall, Billy Hatcher wasn't acutally too bad. Nothing stupendous, but a respectable little game... Mind you, I've onyl seen someone else play through it rather than playing it myself.

i had problems with the rails in billy hatcher, as often they'd require you to either roll down the rails on an egg, or roll an egg down the rails while you dash along a different route. but often it wouldn't detect that you've landed on the rails, or the egg will fall off and drag you along with it.
so i think sonic team has a definate problem when it comes to rails. razz
apart from that, i've really enjoyed playing it. it's a shame that i can't get past the (final?) boss.

No chance of being pointed and laughed! xd But I thought the game was interesting, simple story line, yet its strangly satisfying to squish your enemy with a giant egg, levels were okay too.

I'd call it worth a look for novelty if you've got money to throw around, but otherwise....

SH was okay. It was by no means the best Sonic game ever, but it also wasn't the worst (That title belongs to Sonic Labrynth...).
Gameplay-wise, it was decent. I liked the three-player concept even if it was tough to get used to. Problem was the gameplay was really glitchy and I hated the fact I had to run through pretty much the same game four times in a row just to unlock the final ending.
The story... No. Don't like it. It was weak and riddled to the brim with plotholes, farfetched sinarios (many of which are unexplained) and poor character development.
... Speaking of the glitches in the gameplay, one time while playing Team Dark... I got what had to be one of the funniest glitches ever. I was practically on the floor laughing like an immature school girl XD I went to change formation, and Rouge ended up bent over with Shadow standing over her in a rather... interesting way. They were both stuck just floating there, only character I had control over was Omega who was stuck in his "flight" position (arms straight in the air) and I could move him independantly of the two. Even worse was you know how glitches can kinda twitch? ... Yeah. I wish I could have taken a screenshot, it was so wrong and priceless XD

eh, not Sonic Teams greatest moment, but still the game has a lot to offer up to anyone willing to really play it.

Please.
It's not difficult. I hate using other people as examples, because it means holding them up and effectively using them as sticks to beat the rest of the forum with, and I wouldn't like that myself - but Master of Pachi has the idea of what I'm talking about.
You don't need to write much, but write enough so that we don't have to be mind readers to know what you're talking about...

Sorry. smile
You just seem to have the hang of what I say in the forum guidelines about posting: being able to give a clear reason for something without writing a small essay (unless you want to).
