She stared at the recovered body. She sighed and examined her hands"This is rediculus..."she whispered and wrapped her hands in a few bandages she had gotten out of her back. She closed her eyes, and shook her head"Now we got to dig even more....".

"I'm in no mood for this."
Draku got annoyed, and pissed. Taking one rock, he set it aside from the others and repeated procedure. It wasnt long before draku got completely irritated, and thus summoned his telekenises. A soft shockwave rippled through the midnight darkness, gently pushing all the concrete remains to the other side. It was only like a mere wind but focused on each individual rock. He fell down his a** and let out a deep, loud sigh. Although it wasnt much effort, Draku is pushing himself as of now. At least the creature's fresh corpse now became visible but he couldnt stand. The creature sat at seven feet, blood spreading across various areas of it body.
"Can you make fire or something?"

She sat beside him and placed a hand to his shoulders"No I cant, I'm not a pyrokenetic..."she sighed and layed on her back, her stomack clawed at her inards hungrily and it was starting to hurt. She searched thru her bag and handed him a peace of beef jerky"Forgot I had em..."she laughed and took a bite out of the tough peece of meat.

"You dont need to be a pyro-user to be able to create fire. Anyway, thanks." Draku grabbed the piece of meat and took a savage bite from it.
"Say, what else do you have in there?"
It was hard since it wasnt cooked right. Still, it would do for the night. Draku, still chewing on the piece of meat, stared at his surroundings and noticed the morning light piercing the darkness. Soon, the hot sun would shed its rays and scorch the deserts. It would be a good time to find shelter, or rest somewhere until night comes again.

"I dont have anything to make a fire either...."she laughed softly and emptied her back, herbs, some jerky, a bit of water, bandages, blankets"I dont carry much around with me..." a weak laugh escaped her lips and she yawned, finished the jerky. Her head fell against his lap, she rubbed her tembles and sighed"I'm getting a killer headache...".

Draku fell to the ground softly, unconcious. He fell into a deep sleep. Too much of his energy have been used up and there was insufficient food to recover for it. Hopefully, no other animal would detect the scent of the chimera's carcus beside them because Draku wont be waking up anythime soon

She closed her eyes and sighed quietly. Her face became burried in the fabric of his pants. A weak smile spread across her face and she curled up around in one of the blankets that she had with her and placed one over Draku, for tonight. She would use him as a pillow. She layed her head down, this time on his stomack and fell asleep.

Draku was woken by the morning sunlight, burning down on his face. Grains of sand sealed his eyes. Rubbing them out, he noticed Lecta on him and he gave a soft, yet sad smile. Never had he smiled since the disasters and memories plagued his mind, often losing himself in thought. Slowly, he pushed himself to a concrete rock behind him an leaned on it. He didnt want to wake up Lecta, she needs the rest after the long desert walk. Draku snorted in disgust. Along with the morning breeze, was the strong stench of decomposing body created by the chimera's rotting corpse. Flashbacks filled his mind of last night's fight. This lead him to think of how lucky they were that they fought this being in the city. If they did elsewhere, they'd be dead by now.
I wonder what the city we're heading to might look like, I wonder what my purpose to live is now? thought Draku. His dreams and goals were discarded by the undead and now, he finds a purpose to live. Hopefully, he will meet up with destiny in his path of life.

A small groan escaped Lecta's lips and she gripped his shirt then let out a soft yawn, she slowly opened her eyes and rubbed them hard. They felt like sand paper. She turned onto her back, opening her eyes completly. Luckly the sun was blocked by a building"What time is it..."she whispered and breathed in a slow breath.

"You're awake already? Its still early in the morning. The sun rose a few hours ago." explains Draku. "Whenever you're ready, we must leave before other types of beasts smell the chimera's rotting corpse. Scavengers will look for it. Oh, i forgot, we should be leaving at night right?"
Now that Lecta has waken, Draku stood on his feet and walked towards the building edge. The sun's white rays pierced his pupils. Draku covered his eyes with a hand over his forehead.
"I forgot which direction we're supposed to follow."

"I did to..."she whispered and placed her bandana around her eyes and sighed weakly. She sat on a rock and folded the blankets. Packing them away in her bag and slid back onto her feet"We neerly slept for two days..."she laughed weakly and slowly followed behind him.

"Is that so?" says Draku. "Then that would explain the rotting corpse. Nothing can decompose within a day. Anyway, I believe we're heading west."
Draku retrieved the elegant compass from within his pockets. With a sharp click, the golden cover opened slowly and revealed the arrow which hesitantly pointed the correct direction: west. draku turned to his right accordingly and followed the compass instruction.

"Alright..."she whispered and slowly followed behind him. Eyes closed half the way, she stubbled once or twice"I feel like crap..."she whispered and placed a hand to her starved stomack"How do you humans do it...Go months at a time without food..."she whispered and let out a nervous laugh.

"Its called fat. It is a human's storage of food that is used up once a person burns it out or during periods of starvation. The more fat you have, the longer you could live without food." explains Draku. "I believe you elves cannot do that?"
Draku continued heading west, the green dot in the distance, seemingly getting larger. Winds carried the sand and the heat, blowing it directly into Draku's face.

"Does it look like I have any fat on me?"she asked and poked at his sides"Soo...is that the reason why you humans are so well...Huge?"she laughed and tilted her head to the side. Her stomack growled painfully and she groaned in frustration"I eat like a cow...And I never seem to get larger..So perhaps we cant..."she added and smiled nervously"Is that a...flaw?".
