Alexi picked the phone up as Aiden watched Mercutio on the phone, smoking his cigarette.
"hello? Finch's apartment, Alexi speaking"

"Oh! Eh, hi Alai." Mercutio responded with a bit of a shock, "Did someone over there try to ring me last night?" he asked glancing over at Aiden with a nervous look on his face.

"yes, Finch did I've lost Aiden and he was drunk and i'm worried because he was no common sense when he's drunk. Did you happen to see him?" Alexi asked worriedly, he hadn't expected Mercutio to ring and took his tone of voice as shock at finding Alexi instead of Finch as he usually would.
Aiden stayed silent, but looked a bit startled that Alexi was on the phone.

"Can you just hold on a sec, I forgot I was cooking something." Mercutio lied. He covered the mouth piece before looking at Aiden pleadingly.
"He wants to know if I've seen you, what should I say?" He asked in a whisper so Alexi wouldn't be able to hear it.

"sure" Alexi answered, not thinking it was a lie at all. He waited patiently as he turned over a pancake in a pan.
Aiden, thought and then smiled.
"just say you kept me here cos you found me passed out in the park, he won't think anything of it especially because of your...uhm...changes?" Aiden said, having been told about Mercutio by Niro.

Mercutio nodded and held the phone back to his mouth. "Sorry about that. Aiden? Yeah. Last night a way at the park with Jynelle and found Aiden passed out. I brought him back to my place for the night. Sorry I didn't call you, I didn't really have the time too." He explained to Alexi a lot less nervous about the whole situation.

"oh good! I had an inkling the stupid prat would end up face-down somewhere or even worse!! thanks Mercutio i'll come and pick him up in about 30 minutes okay?" ALexi asked, feeling relief wash over him. At least now he wouldn't get skinned by Niro for letting AIden get drunk and wander off.
Aiden lit another cigarette and lay back on Mercutio's bed, trying to remember what had actually happened between them. It was obvious they had slept together, but it bugged him he couldn't remember a thing.

"Alright. I'll let him know. See ya then." Mercutio said before hanging up the phone. He turned around to see Aiden and sighed. "Alexi's coming 'round soon." He informed him. He leaned heavily against the wall behind him and slunk down with his head in his hands.
After a few minutes of silence he looked up again. "I can't believe I let it happen again. I told Jynelle I wouldn't. The poor girl probably hates me..." He started muttering. Not long after he said that a small Dryad's face popped around the corner and peered at the two guys in the room.
"Nelle doesn't hate 'Cutio. Was partly Aiden's fault." She said looking up at the man in Mercutio's bed. "Aiden was grumpy and drunk, and Mercutio was upset." She added coming further into the room. The little dryad had heard and seen a fair bit of what had happened the night before.

"oh I know Jynelle! I'm a totally a** when i'm drunk...and it just...pissed me off that Nrio slept with someone I trusted alot...." Aiden said heatedly, though the last part was spoken in a soft,sad tone. He really liked Mercutio as a friend.
he lit his third cigarette and standing offered one to Mercutio, smiling softly.
"i'm sorry Cutio, don't let this ruin our friendship, I really do like you as a friend"

"It's easier said than done. I'll certainly try to stay friends, but I can't really guarantee anything." Mercutio said accepting the cigarette. "Alexi will be here soon, do you want breakfast or something?" He asked standing himself with a sigh. He walked over to the door before looking back to his guest.

"alright Mercutio and no my stomach won't be able to handle food until later" Aiden said, lighting Mercutio's cigarette and then his own. He took a drag and started when a knock on the door came.

Mercutio didn't even so much as flinch when there was a knock at the door. He nodded to Aiden's answers before going to answer the door and take a drag while he was at it. "Morning." He greeted his newest guest with a smile as he held the door open.

Alexi smiled and looked at Aiden, who looked a little pale and tired. He smiled and walked into the apartment.
"sorry for having him burden you" Alexi apologised softly, handing Mercutio a bag of muffins.

Mercutio shook his head. "Don't worry about it. I barely remember what happened last night anyway." He said taking the bag Alexi handed him.
He glanced at Aiden for a second before letting out a slight yawn. Apart from the short time he was passed out for, Mercutio hadn't slept all night and was feeling a little worn out.

Aiden paled a bit more and rushed to the bathroom, Alexi sighed and blocked out the sounds of his friend retching.
Alexi looked at Mercutio and sipped at the smoothie he had purchased along with Mercutio's muffin.
"you should get some sleep 'cutio" he said softly, patting the other on the shoulder as he heard the toilet flush and running water.
