Silhouette Jw A good example of a Plot for Sephiroth is to Play FFVII in your head as a Tall guy with long white hair and a proficiency for Destruction, along with the very rare Life 2. (Nibelheim joke... Very rarely, Sephiroth would cast Life 2 on Cloud if he died.) Now, Read some books, think you are some By-Product of a Biological experiment, Go Insane, Get Pwned by a Level 1 Noob, and Go Dormant for a couple of years, Wake up, Kill Holy Incarnate (Aeris, for those who didn't read my earlier post), Summon meteor, and Get Pwned again. All Leet/Chat-Speak and Random Killing Sprees aside, That is the General Sephiroth Story-line. Now, Think of How Much Stuff was Crammed into FFVII as a Whole, and How Long, but Oh-So-Short the Game is, and How it leaves you wanting more. Now, Take a Sliver of that, and make a Game out of it that's worthwhile. Point being: Sephiroth, is from a Neutral Standpoint, pretty cool, and from my Biased one, an Evil b*****d; Problem is, His Entire Story is Played out, period. There is little more than a Pre-Existant Plot, with hardly any gameplay available to it. = But that's me. Most of it would be story.....no gameplay......and there's no point in making a game of him of his past because Crisis Core already does that. *Sighs*

It's not really something to look forward to... But then, That's what we've been saying this whole time, right? XD True. smile And I wonder what the gameplay would be like. Would they make him invincible? Because NO one can beat the BEST soldier. xd He'll probably just swing his sword around with a few materia at his disposal.

I'm going to move this thread to the spin-offs subforum, as it would be better suited there, as this discussion concerns the possibilities of a Sephiroth centric video game. smile Please post similar topics like this there in the future.

I'd play it. If they came out with it. But I'd still be a little iffy on it. Firstly, it's been done, I know, but having a main antagonist instantly made into a protagonist? Iunno...Besides, his story? Done. And yes, it would be solely to make the fans happy, but here's the thing...It's be overkill. Sephiroth is a monster (As much as I think he's awesome, he's one of Square's not so great villains...Kefka still seems to be the best...Insane...Crazy...Call him what you like, he still took over the world and killed a lot of people), having him as a main character would totally ruin the experience of the game. Think, uh...Oh, Gungrave, he video game. Total overkill. Hundreds of enemies, near infinite health, and unlimited ammo. Even if they made it like, a prequel to the scene from five years before FFVII, when Sephiroth was at like, level 50 and had all the most powerful spells, it'd STILL be overkill. He's just too powerful to make a game out of.
Anyway, that's my opinion.

A sephy game would be awesome, But as people said before it would have to be his start out or it wouldn't make sense. Either way it would probaly Be a mature or adult game. Sephiroth is kinda famous for slaughtering villages.

Sure i'd play it; it would be interesting. [spoilers are below, highlight to read.]
I mean; you know to fully know his past and all; and then when he uses Jenova to masquarde in his image; being able to own all the soldiers in Shinra HQ, and impale the Midgar Zolom? That would be awesome. Hell; just having the satisfaction of killing Aeris would be an epic game in itself. It would be fan service; but awesome fan service.

Actually, my brother had this box thing he hooked up to ps. I forgot what it was called. But anyways, he acquired a hack that let him play as aeris after she died and sephiroth. Neither characters were very good because Aeris apparently sucks after level 50 and You only had Sephiroth at level 32 or whatever it was when you killed that dragon.
