"Nuka says that foxes and wolves an' things with big teeth eat foals." She snuffled slightly as she moved closer to her brother, considerably calmed now that the strange creature was gone. She looked towards the other filly. "Y'ain't gonna get in trouble with your Da, are you? Our Da never said we couldn't talk ta other foals..." She nodded, giving her head a little toss.

As Cerdi ran off, Saiena made a horrible face in his wake. However, she'd adopted a much straighter expression as she turned back to her new friends.
Wrinkling her nose, she gave Sedi a sour look. "He's a fox. My Papa's f'miliar, actually, an' he's VERY not nice. He's mean to me a lot, an' always tries to get me in trouble with Papa. Papa usually doesn' listen to him, though, so I don' THINK I'll get in trouble."
This was directed at Atsile, Saiena's frown deepening slightly as she pondered if that would be the case again, that her father wouldn't believe Cerdi...
Of course he wouldn't! He knew that she was smart and wouldn't break rules, and that Cerdi was just a meanie anyway. Buoyed by the knowledge, she shook her head vehemently at the other foals, then broke into a wide grin. "Now that he's gone, wanna play something?" That would be fun!

"Nuka was proberly tryin ta scare ya." He scrunched his nose slightly. "Sides ya should listen ta'em. Dah said he was no good."
When their new friend spoke up he imedietly forgot about Nuka and how they weren't suppose to talk to him. "What kinda game? Games 'er fun"

She'd thought that at first... But after how nasty that little fox was? She was persuaded to believe that there might be at least a little bit of truth in what he'd said. She stuck her tongue out at Sedi for a moment before turning to face the filly. "Are y'fast enough ta play tag? Or race? I beat Sedi all the time." She puffed out her chest as she stood proudly. Alright, maybe that was just a little bit of an exaggeration. She'd only beat him once or twice... But she always beat Beau.

Since she really didn't know who Nuka was or why he was bad or anything, Saiena had been basically tuning out the discussion between the other two foals, mulling over game ideas instead. But at Atsila's suggestion, she looked up at the other filly, excitement evident on her features.
"Really? You're a fast runner? ME TOO!!!" How exciting! The chance to race someone other than Papa, who she ALWAYS beat; but then, Papa had wings and he always said he wasn't used to using his legs when he needed to move fast, so he usually tripped and fell and she HAD to win..
"Let's race! And then maybe we can play tag, later?" Both games sounded fun!

"Ya do not always beat me! I win! No one faster dan me" He huffed and nudged his sister with his shoulder. She was always lieing about that kind of stuff.
He could even beat his Dah so there was no way his sister would beat him. "Tag's funner .. cause if we race i'm just gonna win anyway"

"Da's faster than you! Momma to!" She laughed as she pawed at the ground, her petite body jittering with excitement. "Y'ain't gonna win, Sedi. Y'just gonna stand there an' talk while we girls run circles 'round ya! Race ya to the tree down there!" She called out before taking off, tail streaming out behind her.

"So are playin-HEY!" Saiena had been agreeable to either plan, loving to run as she did; however, she was used to people letting you know what you were at least DOING before they started! Consequently, she wasn't exactly thrilled when Atsila took off; how very rude to start ahead of everyone else!
However, she'd give her a what for! As soon as she realized what was going on, she'd kicked off and was racing towards the tree after the other filly like a bat out of hell, mane and tail trailing behind her. "CHEATER!"

"Ya both cheatash!!!" He took off after the two girls quickly. Even if his sister go a head start he knew he was faster. He beat Dah all the time.
"Dah slow as a turtle compaired ta me!"

She turned her head back over her shoulder so that she could yell to her brother while running. "Da'll always be fasta than y--- OOF!" Her shout was cut short as she ran into a branch, stumbling for a foot or two before falling... And rolling. Her head started to spin after a moment and, even after she stopped on the ground, everything still seemed as if it were moving.

Atsila's fall was like a godsend to Saiena, who scooted right past her fallen friend and all but collided with the tree trunk. "HA! You tripped, I win, CHEATERS NEVER PROPER!!!"
She wasn't exactly sure what that was supposed to mean, but her father sure said it a lot, so it had to mean something significant. "And you're SLOW, SEDI!"
Compared to her at least!
