Jools I have also decided to have fake flowers for the bridesmaids and real ones for me, as they want to charge ?70 for each bridesmaid!!!! I have 3!! I found a great site which makes them, they look so real, and are ?20 each, which is much better! Since they are silk, my advice to you would be to have them sent enough in advance that if yours don't end up like the samples online that you still have time to do something about it. Not an unreasonable request, for the florists. I've done silks for several wedding including my own. My colors were blue purple and green and you just don't find those deep colors in nature and I din't want them painted!
Also you had that pictue with the tiara and I wanted to mention that I've seen some nice hair-dos w/o the tiara and they used sik or real flowers, and especially if you could find some silks to match the flowers on the dress I thik that would tie things in nicely, but that's just an idea. I know fresh baby's breath is popular for that too.
Glad things are going well.

Well, the hotel we are getting married in actually supplies all the flowers for the tables etc for us, using the same colour scheme etc as we choose. The lady who makes them on ebay is very talented, have a look at this posy which I like for my 2 bigger bridesmaids.... If you can't see the link, here is an img. ^.^ I think its excellent!

This is a random post, but there are wedding details here :-p anyways I just wanted to post some pics as Jeff decided to get his eyebrow pierced a few weeks ago, I just came across the pics we took again ^.^ He is such a cutey heart whee Oh, and we decided on the favours, and I ordered them from the shop last week, they are already done and printed on!!! I was so impressed ^.^ My mum and I decided we would fill them and put the ribbon etc on ourselves as she is really into craft stuff, and it saves over £100! We made a sample today, it looks gorgeous, I will get a pic tomorrow.....also the invitations have arrived all printed and lovely! Tomorrow is the 2nd wedding fayre I am going to, I need to speak with the guy who is doing the balloons for the wedding as he will be there, and finalise what balloons I want, and all colours etc smile he lives about 2 hours away so he is making it super convenient for us, which is lovely! So basically the wedding plans are going great!!! heart

OK, this is going to be a long post as I haven't updated for some time now!!
I bought my bridesmaid dresses. I saw them back in August in a shop, but didnt buy them as I hadnt chosen the wedding dress yet. I went in the shop to get them in November, and they had a sale tag of 20% off which was amazing, but when I got to pay for them....they had 33% off!! I was so pleased! They are plain red with a halterneck or sleeveless design, it has removable straps. On the back the fabric is gathered at the waist so that it makes the back of the dress all flowy and gives it a small train, its gorgeous, like my dress design smile
I also picked up my wedding dress, and the new tiara after they ordered me another one. I also bought the veil when I went to pick up the dress, its really pretty it has these crystals on it, the same kind that are in the tiara so the whole veil also sparkles smile
I edited the first post, so it has pics of everything in it!

I forgot to add the bridesmaids hair ^.^ I think its really pretty, but there will be a few curls on the front framing the face, and roses at the top of the twist, so it isn't plain smile

aww thanks, thats nice to hear from someone who planned weddings!
My newest goal for the new year is to drop a stone before the wedding, hopefully go down a dress size. The dress can go down 2 sizes without needing further tailoring ^.^
I started swimming last week, and the speed and agility has improved already. Last week I did 16 lengths in 35 mins (yes im unfit!) and tonight I have been and done 24 in 35 mins ^.^
I am mostly doing it for health, doctor advised it would help with the back/breast problems, but it would be nice to lose some weight to help along the way whee
