The name is Sarteck. I've been RPing e'er since I was a l'il thang, 'bout six years old. Heh. I've been RPing on the 'Net ever since I joined back in '92 (some of you older types might remember WBS, or later, IFC, RPC, ER, IMC and the new MyWBS that took about a month to flop back in 2002).
I'm 26. I do a bit of freelance programming to get by, mainly (odd jobs that pay more in foodstuffs and cigarettes than actual cash), and I live with my girlfriend (also on Gaia as Sony Jung) in Columbus, Ohio.
I occasionally RP every once in a while, and I'll tell you right now (I'm not very modest) I'm a pretty damned good RPer, heh. But lately, the Muse just hasn't plucket my heart's strings enough to get deeply involved in an RP for more than a day or two.
I miss ye good ol' days of RP in the webchats, which has inspired my latest programming project: a streaming webchat using PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript (thus making it portable to most any server). Because of my particular programming ethics, the project will be entirely open source, of course, and if any of you coding gurus wanna steal it and adapt it to your own needs, I'll more than welcome it.
Eh, I think I've rambled on enough. biggrin Let's see if I can find my Muse, here, and put her back to work.

Alo everyone, my name is Hoshi...well not really but I don't usually give out my 'real name' over the internet. But anway, I am so happy to be accepted into a literate GNN! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know that people appreciate my Roleplaying skills. I like a numerous amount of genre's for RP's, my most favorite being Fantasy. Just makes the characters a whole lot more interesting.
Ahem...anyway, thank you for inviting me, and I hope to join an RP soon!

Hey guys, I just joined after I got an invite from somebody. They musta saw what I was doing on one of them and thought it a good idea to invite me. blaugh But ya I just wanted to put this in about how I may not be too terribly active. It's really hard for me to find an rpg I like and am continuously interested in. Not to mention I gotta get a freaking job because the city is gonna shut off my water on the 14th crying

Umm, hi. I was invited here, and my name is Roka_Shotar. I am in a few Advanced and a few Literate Role Plays, and I am about to start an Advanced in Barton Town. I enjoy Supernatural/Just-plain-super Abilities/Powers Role Plays, like super heroes, Medieval Fantasy, and Futuristic Sci Fi.
Umm . . . oh yeah! I am the creator and owner of the Character Help Thread in the Barton OOC. It is a community project for helping make super characters.
My favorite colors are White, Platinum, Silver, and Light blue. I enjoy the BBCoding color Darkgoldenrod, favor healer/protector good characters, and I am not dark.
What else . . . I like bunnies, squirrels, and baby kangaroos. Cute things are awesome. I also enjoy Science, Mathematics, and Mythology. I play the Eb Alto Saxophone, and draw (but I have no scanner). I watch Teen Titans when I can, Nova, and other miscellaneous cartoons.
