Miette looked at Tino with wide eyes. Konsta...what? She blinked twice, her eyes still wide with disbelief. She wondered if he had swallowed a dictionary for a moment before realizing how silly that was. "Tino, I think I can manage that. I'm not sure I could even say one of the other names you gave," she admitted with a smile. She looked over at Samira giving a wave as she looked over at them before the dog turned her attention away.

"Aislinn's not usually so...mean. She's quite nice..." she added feeling the urge to set the record straight. She didn't want people thinking that Aislinn was a trouble maker.

-----

"I'm sorry, Faye," Aislinn whispered in her friend's ear. She continued clinging to the other cherub feeling like she had been rescued from a dungeon. She hoped her friend wasn't mad at her. "It's not all Ruka's fault..." she admitted blushing. She was returning the favor in a way but mostly letting Faye know she didn't have to be too angry with Ruka.

She gave a giggle, "Next time we see Lani we can make him into a cherub sundae!" Her voice was a mixture of soft and filled with laughter. She wasn't sure if she meant it or not. She just wanted Faye to feel better about the boy.

Suddenly Liam was ignored...and confused. Two things he disliked most. One brown brow rose lazily, watching Samira turn to the Kinstanwhateverhisnamewas. "Well...isn't it possible that...nevermind." The corner of his lip twitched, trying hard not to smile at the scene. They were almost like siblings, if it wasn't for the fact they looked nothing alike he'd swear they were related.

He was grateful when her attention was turned back to him, glancing at his sister briefly to make sure she was still behaving. "Sammy? Er...mind if I just call you Sam?" Sammy would make him sound a bit girly...but Pandora would gladly call her Sammy. "Used to call you?" What happened to them? Were they in some other place? Most likely they were, either that or the bastards had left her.

Liam nodded, grinning. "Yeah, it's Liam, and thanks. I always thought it was rather plain compared to Pandora's name...uh...you don't have to stand you know. Now that Pan's up there's plenty of room to sit." Pan understood the insult and that Liam was calling her fat, promptly earning himself a smack upside the head before Pan left with Yeos to pack her bags to go to Ioyla's place. "It really does..." Hurt, he meant.

---

Faye smiled softly and rest her head against her friend's, refusing to let her go anytime soon. "Don't worry..." The cherub paused, frowning and shaking her head. No! It was all Ruka's fault! It'd been his idea! And the only reason Aislinn went along was because someone who went against a dare was called a chicken! It'd been a matter of dignity and pride! Even though...pride was a sin...

Her offer seemed to cheer Faye up, a tiny giggle bubbling forth from her lips. "Can I put the cherry on top?"

Ruka had stood there, completely stunned at the kiss. He looked very much like a fish, wide-eyed and open mouthed. Heat built around his face, reddening his pallid cheeks and spreading across his entire face - he was left a bundle of bunched nerves with a blushing visage.

A kiss! A kiss from a girl! That wasn't Sukku! The little cupid could barely move, still utterly stunned; his mouth opened and closed, brows furrowing and shattering his still face.

"Tha'...tha'..." This was no time to be flustered! She was still a girl, no matter how cool the tail-pulling had been! He clenched his fists. "You're such a g-girl! Now I have cooties FOREVER!"

He did his best to look angry, and turned, finding refuge in the laughing Sukku's arms. He rubbed at his cheek and tried to remove the feeling, lips pursed and pouted.

Aislinn giggled nodding, "Of course!" she told her friend giving a grin. She had wanted to say when she heard Ruka. She giggled more, that almost made getting in trouble more worth it, to embrass him so much. "It'd be funny if he had a sign on his back that said 'Kiss Me'," she giggled. She could see people kissing him and Ruka being completely disgusted. It was almost as hilarious as making him into a sundae.

Faye's smile grew, hugging her friend tighter. "Okay, I guess I can forgive him..." The cherub blinked and looked up when Ruka started complaining, sticking her tongue out at him and turning to whisper something in Aislinn's ear. "Let's get all our sisters and ask them to kiss him, he'll hate that!"

Cooties huh? We'll see about that! Cooties were silly! There was no such thing!

Tino narrowed his crystalline eyes at Samira, giving her a glare that even the stoic Teivel would be proud of, if they ever met. How dare she tell them such lies! His name was Konstantinos. Tino was just easier to say...and yes, he was definately sticking to that story.

"I'll have to teach you, I guess." He smiled at the mouse girl, his comment in response to her not being able to say his 'full' name. Tino's light gaze then moved towards the one Miette called Aislinn, cocking his head to the side once more. She really didn't seem like a mean girl, but then again...he didn't act how he looked, either.

"I think...I'll take your word on that, 'Ette." He murmured something about not liking his tail touched anyway.

"Hey, do you have a family? Here on Gaia, I mean." He asked suddenly after a moment of silence, focusing back on the little girl.

"Possible that what? Samira asked curiously, her ears perked as she leaned her head to the side. She hadn't meant to ignore him, but she didn't want everyone believing everything Tino had to say...something she learned since she first met him. Once he decided on talking to you, it was hard to tell what was truth and what wasn't. Besides, it wasn't nice of him to lie to a child. "But yes, you can call me Sam if you like!" She smiled happily, her tail wagging once more. "Yes...used to." Samira repeated solemnly...she didn't drag that subject on any further.

"Pandora is a nice name too...but I like the shorter names, to be honest. I think shorter names are more charming." She informed him without really thinking; its what she thought, so she figured there was nothing to be ashamed of. However, at his somewhat subtle offer of a seat, she suddenly gained a small air of shyness. "You don't mind if I sit here, then?"

"Mm-hmm. Linn's my sister...well not my um..." she paused trying to remember what Aislinn had said, "by-o-low-gee-co sister. Ane adopted both of us," she finished blushing. She was only four, it wasn't like she was supposed to be able to say huge words. She paused for a moment.

"Have you been adopted yet?" she asked curiously. She couldn't adopt him, obviously but she was intrigued now. He seemed like a nice enough person that she could at least be friends with him, which would give her someone else to look forward to seeing since she didn't get to see Gina a lot.

-----

"Let's wait until after we get a chance to turn him into a sundae, we can tell him we want to say sorry then ambush him," Aislinn told Faye with a giggle. They were getting dangerous now, planning two attacks on the poor boy. The cherub's wings fluttered in excitement, she thought the ideas were perfect.

"Er, nothing...just that it might be possible that's his full name? Judging from your reaction though..." He glanced back at Tino and Miette as he spoke. "I take it that wasn't the case?" Lying to children was always a bad thing, unless it was something cute and simple like Santa or the Easter Bunny...who turned out to be some creepy looking robot. Whatever happened to men in big bunny costumes? That was more fun than a cold, blue robot...

Liam didn't push the subject about her friends, he was beginning to get the feeling that perhaps it wouldn't be such a good idea yet. Another time when it fit the ocassion, or if it was brought up. The boy chuckled, his ears giving a flick when she said names like his were charming. "Never heard it put that way before. I guess I should be glad my name's only four letters long then, right?" Liam nodded, idly toying with his blue-tipped hair. "Of course not! What kind of gentleman would I be if I let a girl stand up while I just lounged around? A really lousy one, that's what."

---

Faye giggled and finally let go of Aislinn, watching Ruka in the corner of her eye with a smirk. "That's a perfect idea, 'Linn! Where've you been hiding these great plans of yours?" Usually it was Lani or her that came up with the plan, and the look on Aislinn's face whenever they did that always made Faye feel guilty.

Aislinn thought for a moment. It had just popped in her head, at least she thought it had. "I guess it was hiding until the right time came," she mused giving a giggle. It seemed ironic that it would just pop into her head. She hadn't even tried thinking of something, perhaps that was the key to coming up with a good idea.

The cherub pulled her hands away collecting her hair in one hand while using the other to tie it in a ribbon. Since it was summer, her hair was starting to bother her unless she put it in a ponytail. She never could see to remember that in the mornings when she woke up though.

"Biological?" Tino questioned, leaning his head to the side once more. Both of his ears perked for a moment, though his non-pierced ear fell once more, continuing to give him that lopsided, rather goofy look. "Samira and I aren't biological either, but we know we're going to be siblings...its strange that way. So yes, we've been adopted. We arrived on Gaia early though, so we have time to make friends before we meet our new parents. He smiled softly down at the little girl, rather talkative now that she'd come over to him.

"Have you ever heard of someone named 'Enoh Love'? Thats the name Samira and I got..." His tone, surprisingly enough, mirrored his curious expression. His shyness was returning, and thus he was serious about this adoption business...he found it frightening, and he was trying to hide it.

---

Normally Samira would have been sheepish concerning Liam's question, but in this case, she knew she was right, and therefore had the utmost confidence in the way she reacted. "Naah...I saw his adoption papers. It said that Tino was his birthname, so I can call his bluff." She giggled, rolling her eyes slightly. "He's just being a goof, I guess..." The female glanced back at Tino and the mouse child briefly, though her attention was instantly put back to Liam.

"Well...I guess it just depends on how you look at it..." She murmured sheepishly this time, finding herself with another light blush. Next time, she was going to think before speaking! Samira had to re-learn how to make new friends...again. "I wouldn't think so...I'm sure there'd be a reason for me not to sit there! Gotta give people the benefit of the doubt." She nodded a bit at her own words, turning around and taking a seat on the couch, near to Liam. "But thank you for letting me sit here!"

"Oh, Enoh just got married to Nio. I don't know them very well but they seem nice. I know that Enoh's daughter Mieke is expecting and takes care of Gina, she's also a really good cook," Miette explained. She only said what she knew and that wasn't much. She was actually having trouble figuring out if she knew anyone else from the Love family, not counting Alania's children. "Linn knows Valen, she says he's nice so they must be good people," she added with a smile.

Faye smiled and folded her arms behind her back. Well! If Aislinn could come up with plans like that then who knows what else she could think up! "Must have been! Who knows what else could be in that head of yours!" The cherub giggled, raising one hand and poking at Aislinn's head.

"You should speak up more often!" She chirped, taking off her jacket and putting it down on a nearby chair. It was so hot! Why did she put that on every morning? Eight was going to have to take her shopping to get her some special summer clothes.

---

"Oh, I get it now. Best to stop it now before it spreads like the plague..." It made sense, and he suddenly felt like a fool for suggesting it was probably his full name. Liam smiled and looked up at Samira with a raised brow, regarding the girl as seriously as possible. "Well, how do you know I'm not lying about my name as well? I don't have any adoption papers or anything on me to prove my innocence." He moved over to give Sam more room when she sat down beside him with a soft 'you're welcome', folding his arms behind his head before he spoke again. "I could have randomly said a short name just to impress you or something." Not likely.

---

Eight smiled and poked at Ioyla's stomach. How sweet, she never knew her friend had a soft side. "Aww, I always knew you had a soft spot under that tough exterior!" She teased, giggling and stepping back a few steps to avoid any hits she might get. "It's a wonderful feeling to be called mother or mom, you'll grow to love it~!"

Ioyla rubbed at her poked belly, blushing a bit. "Yeah, well...don't get used to it." She slunk back near the door, eager to get Yeos and go. Being crammed in a room full of kids made her nervous and a little apprehensive, but with teh addition of a devil...things could get ugly, and fast. "Hurry up, Eight," she muttered, jerking her thumb at the door, "kinda wanna, y'know, leave."

---

Yeos giggled again, hooking her thumbs into her belt loops. She walked with Pan to her room, snatching a suitcase out of the corner near the door. "I hope that red-headed lady takes you and Liam in. She's nice~."

Yeos dumped basically all of her clothes into the suitcase in one giant lump, squashing it down, only to make room for more clothes. She zipped the case shut, having trouble , but still, she got it done, nonetheless. The dog girl smiled. "Your brother's a cutie, especially his plushie. Is it supposed to be you?"

Nio? Mieke? Gina? Valen? Who were these people?! Not a single name registered with the redhead, but that was expected considering he'd never been to Gaia before now. Tino just pretended to know what Miette was talking about, smiling and as if he understood all these weird names. "So they're good people then? Thats good." He smiled softly, almost in relief. He was afraid he and Samira would find themselves in an awful household.

Content with Miette's answer, he leaned back in his seat, basking in the sun more than he had been all along. It took him a few seconds to realize that Miette was still on the shadowed part of the small couch, and once he realized it, he shuffled over a bit and picked up the little mouse, setting her between the armrest and his legs. The sun should be shared, or so he figured.

---

"Right" She giggled, her ears rotating to flatten against her hair. Her giggle quieted at his question, her head cocking lightly to the side. Once more, Samira was looking sheepish...maybe she'd done the wrong thing in calling Tino on his bluff, or at least telling Liam about it.

"Well...I don't know if thats your name or not...I'm just...trusting that its the truth. Tino introduced himself to me as Konstantinos as well, and I believed him...until I saw his papers." She didn't mention it to Liam, but that kind of hurt, having been led along until she saw his adoption papers. Being lied to hurt, even if it was just Tino being a goof. "But it wasn't you that said your name...I heard it from your sister...and you didn't know that I liked short names until I mentioned it afterwards" She blinked curiously, leaning her head to the other side.

"Yes, they are very good people," Miette commented. She gave a smile. She didn't know all of Nio and Enoh's brood but none of them have ever been mean to her. That counted for a lot she thought. She would've thought on it longer but her mind drifted away since he seemed to believe her.

She gave a giggle as she was picked up and placed in the sunlight. She smiled brightly at Tino before closing her eyes slightly. She'd forgotten what she had been thinking about. She had a terrible habit of getting distracted in her thoughts when she was content.

"I'm sure you'll like them," she whispered giving a yawn. The sunlight falling onto made her feel warm and tired. It was slowly lulling her to sleep, almost like rocking a baby to sleep. She still liked to be swaddled, often curling herself up in her blankets while she slept.
