Victum Soul My Hollow Victum Soul My Hollow Digital Malevolence yeah, i prefer their older stuff aswell. i heard i newer song on the radio and it was just the occasional hit of a snare and bass drum and a soft acoustic guitar in the backround, i thought that song was horrible. Was it Lithium, Sweet Sacrifice, or Call Me When You're Sober? you know what is the only song by evanescence I actually respect? ''My Immortal" (enhanced version) because we spent like 10 years without a good power ballad on the radio. and thanks to them we have one now. I dont repect them for it being a power ballad. They wanted to release it as a balland only. BUT no radio would play it without guitars, drums, and bass. POeple complained it was a classical song with out the "power" behind it. They had to forfit what they wanted for the song for what the music industry wanted. Yeah its a good song either way, but its not what the band intended. I like both versions, and even without all the instruments it is still a power ballad. But I like the enhanced version better, cause Im a musician, I love how the drums, bass and guitar melted. I like it too, at least they didnt mess up the whole song by putting the guitars and junk through the whole thing. Its perfect just where it is gives the song a powerful ending.

I liked the Piano version better. I think the other instruments were over powering and didn't really let the listener hear her voice.

The music video was also really good, imo. Way better than her duet with KoRn. BUT i think Lies is still my favorite Duet that she did with someone.

Big news; John Lecompt and Rocky Gray have left Evanescence. Many theories have risen, and a few statements have been released from a seemly bitter John Lecompt. Rocky said he's not allowed legally to talk about Evanescence at all publicly. I'm not going to hunt down all the fact and quotes for you because i think i am the only Ev fan in here. So this information is not opinionated, merely factual. We have onkly heard one side of the story. When we hear both sides i will shoot out another post.
My opnion- conformed the fact that Evanescence is over, The Amy Lee Show is running along nicely though.
Oh yeah she got married on Sunday.
