SkaterChick64-Selene

Selene grabed her board and set outside, hoping to actually learn something new today. Man...I really hope I can learn to ollie better... She thought, entering the sidewalk.Ok...get on...now put your right foot here, left foot here...push down, slide the other... She tried, and failed. Ugh!!! She started to skate down the street to head to her friend Gabby's house. Turning the corner, and heading down the block, she passed by Mike, Tech, SheDevil, and Dizzy.hmm...other skaters... Selene just moved here, and she didn't want to make a fool of herself, so she went on skating and avoided a pebble in the sidewalk.

Selene notices the skaters looking at her and get's nervous. She noticed a deep crack in the sidewalk that would throw her off...ok...ollie over it...no prob! Concentrating, she pushed down on the tail with the tip of her foot, and slid her right foot towards the nose, she popped up the board and gracefully ollied the crack. did I.....just do THAT? holy S___! Mouth dropped in amazement, she stopped, and pulled a peice of gum out of a small pack she was carrying in her pocket. Woah...I hope those skaters saw that...hehe Walking to a trash can, she trips on a crack, and stumbles, not yet falling. Gah! I hope those skaters didn't see THAT.... Chuckling to herself over her klumzsyness, she throws the wrapper away and pops the peice of gum in her mouth. Gabby isn't going to believe me! She hops on her board, and starts heading down the street, hoping the skaters will still be there when she comes back from Gabby's.

Dizzy looks at his watch, freaking out at the time. "Hey, I'll be right back," he said to SheDevil, giving her a little bite on the neck. Turning to Tech and Mike, he said, "Catch you guys later!" He picked up his board, jumped up to a rooftop, and began skating back to his house to get ready for his night out.

Heading back from a long day of comforting her friend Gabby, Selene was too tired to skate. She couldn't concentrate after all of this. Not remembering the large gash in the sidewalk that she ollied over earlier, she crumbled to the ground after tripping over it. Her skateboard went flying, but she stayed where she was. Half of her mind was on the pain she was going through in her damn life, and half of her mind was on the pain she had running up and down her leg. She couldn't take this anymore. She just layed there...looking up at the sky, with a tear streaming down her face. Getting up, she limped to her board, picked it up, and just started walking...not uttering one peep.

Mike was home already. He was looking out the window at Pipeline and noticed Dizzy sitting there fancy. Then he saw the girl from before and saw the fall. "Oh s**t" he thought.

He slipped on a pair of Ocean Pacific Skate Shoes, an old pair of jeans and hopped out the door. He flew over to the park to sit and wait with Dizzy, and went over by the girl, who had started to walk. "You alright?"

To occupied to noticed Dizzy, he sat next to her on the bench. "Mike. I'm one of the local skaters." He looked at the iPod. "If you can afford one of those, why did you move to this rathole?"

He laughed "No s**t. We're all troubled from living here."
