drum_nerd517 Miangel XD I did that already on MSN... I'm good. Y'know what? I've played just about all of the common woodwind instruments at least a few times, but I've hardly played any brass instruments. Hmm. *desperately wants to play a trombone* Why trombone? Why not.. trumpet.. or flugelhorn? Lol. 'Cause I've already played a trumpet. Flugelhorn would be cool, though. *nods* But I really want to play a trombone 'cause of the whole "no keys" thing. Everything I've played before had keys/valves.

I need to blow air through something... and having a bunch of keys helps, which is why I play mainly woodwinds. 3nodding

I play flute, so I have to say woodwinds. One of my top choices was trumpet at first, but I didn't want to be one of the only female trumpet players...... I was a shy trend-follower at the time.

Phreekontheloose182 go ahead and discuss. which is better, woodwinds or brass? dont kill me, woodwinds but i personally prefer brass since i play the french horn. I LOVE YOU!!! ok... sweatdrop ....not really. I play the french horn also. and I love brass... I mean it harder to play. you woodwinds dont have to keep complete contact with your mouth piece while marching.. in the mud!!! thats hard. plus, brass are just plainly better. cool and you know its true. cool

GO FRENCH HORNS!!!!!!!!
sorry bout that, im one of the few people in my county who can play the french horn worth anything.
On a 'You know your a band geek when...' list:
#13: You have named your instrument.
He he, I have. My french horn's name is Comador Fluffy Paws, and any mellophone that I will ever play from now on will be called Mercedes. I named my trumpet El Shito, because it is a pice of....*cough cough*.... crap. eek stressed sweatdrop
You as if I have a life, my answer is no, just a big no...
