"Kay" She smiled then played with her tail. While looking down she saw a bug walking past her. Toki decided the watch the bug for a lil bit.
Ichigo saw toki not eating. He wondered why. He walked over to her and sat down. "Why aren't you eating?"
"I don't want to eat a poor dead rabbit." She said sitting in front of him.

Ari, after some consideration, decided that he did indeed like how the Madison looked. The surface piercings sounded okay, too, but he wished that he could actually see them on another fox, instead of having to imagine how they would look.
He approached the food Keandra had gotten, not sure how many she would be willing to share with. It looked like Keandra was calmer than normal today, which was nice. (Or had she just been more excited than normal the first time he saw her, when she was talking about her modifications?)
Rina stayed where she was, lying down on the ground, with her tail gently swaying to and fro in front of her. She had already eaten, and so she had no desire to try some of Keandra's food.
She couldn't imagine how her brother found Keandra so hyper as to be annoying, though. Keandra seemed rather calm to her.

Kendra nodded towards Ari, signaling that it was okay, and continued to eat.

Poor dead rabbit, Toki said. Poor dead rabbit. Sonia could only see meat. And blood. Kendra's urging was all she needed, and she bit into the mauled haunch with sharp, efficient teeth. It was warm, fresh, and indescribably good. She had a feeling that she would have to do some hunting of her own: no matter how good the cooked meat she had at home tasted after a long day, this was something else entirely.
It was poetic, she considered as she fell to, having the animal's lifeblood seeping into the dark red marks on her fur. Perhaps she had been born to this. Perhaps she had been destined, even before her birth, to be a killer. The slow movement of her tongue across her blood-soaked muzzle was almost decadent, such was the luxury it suggested.
"...I think I like rabbit," she proclaimed to the group at large.
And she sank her teeth once more into the cooling flesh.

The large dark fox watched Sonia, gobbling up the meat. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying it, and it made Kendra glad that she had caught something everyone seemed to be enjoying. Well, with the exception of Toki. Perhaps Toki would someday try meat, she would no doubt like it. Upon Sonia's remark, Kendra replied, "I think I like the rabbit, too!" Kendra was content, licking the blood from her canines as she went for another bite.

It was the first time that Ari had tasted raw meat, and so he didn't know what to expect. What he found was good, though, and he decided that he would have to learn to hunt for himself. To gain his independence would mean even less time that he would have to spend with his human, and that was a good thing.
"Yes, it's very good," Ari agreed with...what was her name again? Sonia, that was it.

Kendra took one last large mouthful of flesh. She nudged about half of the berries off of the leaf, along with the remaining meat for the pups, and picked up the leaf sling full of several berries in her mouth again, once she had swallowed the bite of rabbit. Without saying anything, she walked sluggishly in no consistent direction until she reached a tree, under which she slowly lied down, enjoying the cool grass tickling her full belly. Setting down the leaf of berries for a later snack, she rested her head on her paws, and let her eyelids droop.

Toki smiled and saw Kendra had finished eating the rabbit. "Thank you Ichigo."
"Well I am you brother. And don't think I'm going to be nice." He said annoyed again.
Toki giggled then licked her brother and went over to sit next to Rina-chan.

It looked like Keandra was done eating, so Ari hesitantly ate on of the berries. They were good, too, but he preferred the taste of the rabbit to that of the berries. The berries seemed almost a little too sweet for him. But maybe Rina would like them, so he took note of the type of berries they were, anyway.

Tearing off a good sized chunk of meat, Sonia set it down and began to pick at it. Easier this way than trying to navigate the carcass every time she took a bite. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Kendra walking over to a nearby tree, lying down for rest. A dreamy expression overtook her features.
"She's beautiful, isn't she?" she remarked to Ari, her tone wistful. "I wonder if I could ever be like her?"

Kendra rolled her head over to eat a berry, and check up on how the others were doing with the rest of the rabbit. Much to her surprise, Sonia was looking over at her, a strange expression on her face. She felt herself blush, then quickly turned her head back around, pretending she hadn't noticed.

Beautiful? He discreetly glanced over at Keandra. Yes, he could see what Sonia meant.
"Indeed. But what is it that you like about her? If it's her beauty, you have that, too."
It was a simple fact; the way her eyes and the tips of her paws and tail contrasted with the rest of her body was beautiful, in a very simple way.
Rina yawned, slightly bored by how nothing was happening. Perhaps she would try her luck at hunting, too? That would be a waste, though, since she wasn't hungry, and it looked as if there was plenty of rabbit for both her brother and Sonia.
What to do, then?
Rina's tail flicked back and forth faster, as she went deeper and deeper into thought.

Sonia wrapped her tail around herself again, feeling suddenly rather self-conscious, and swallowed her mouthful of rabbit a little too fast. She winced as it forced its way down. "...no, not just that...I...it's hard to explain. It's the way she is, not just how she looks - she moves so elegantly, so naturally. She's not clumsy, and she looks pretty when she's shy rather than seeming weak or ridiculous. And she's kind, and those piercings, and...and lots of things, I suppose," she said, her voice turning into a mumble at the end when she realised that she was waxing poetic. Oh good grief. What was Ari going to think of her, going off on a rant like that about someone she'd only just met?
...For that matter, could Kendra hear her from over there?
That one didn't bear thinking about.

Uh oh...Kendra thought she had just heard her own name and the word beautiful in the same sentence. It was a good thing she wasn't facing the pups anymore, or else they would probably have seen her navy cheeks turning dark red. She flicked her tail a little, and realized wasn't all that tired. She stuffed the rest of the berries into her mouth, somewhat staining her lips, then heaved herself to a standing position and cautiously walked back to Sonia and the others.

Did Sonia know Keandra already? From the way Sonia was talking about her, it seemed that the two had met sometime before, for her to be so obsessed.
"Perhaps. It's hard to tell what will happen to you as you grow up. Although, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't, if that's what you wanted to be like."
That caused him to think of new things, of what he would be like when he was an adult. How different would he become? He was quite happy with how he was, but he knew that change was nearly unavoidable, too, so he wasn't going to fight change because it was change, he would only fight it if it was change that he didn't like.
