Mmk, I finished Valiant by Holly Black. There's faeries, street kids, faery drugs, non-discriptive sex, some tiny bit of REAL romance, some morals (Don't do drugs XD), bravery and courage, video game references and empowerment of women! Yar! The main character is a 17-year-old sports girl that learns to use a sword.
All in all...I thought the book was a bit simple and predictable if you can find the hints that are ALL over the book. You can guess who's the bad guy and the corrupted guy fairly early. Buuuuut it would probably be good for a 14-year-old, except the sex...but that doesn't bother some people ^.^ Whatever!
This is Glory reporting for your pleasure >_> Peace.

I'm reading Stephen Kings Bag of Bones, and am half-way through The Kabbalah, which is translations of the first three books of the ZHR. (I'm very spiritual.)

I'm reading Ironside by Holly Black. I saw that someone else reviewed one of her books, and I do agree that they can be a bit predictable at times, but they're also a rather good quick read. It keeps me busy for about one day and enterained.
I'm also just starting City of Bones by Cassie Clare. Its wonderfully funny with a supernatural twist.

Right now I'm reading House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski. It's pretty amazing. It's basically two stories in one [actually more, I just haven't gotten there.] It's about a guy who works at a tattoo parlor named Johnie and he finds this book that this old blind guy wrote about a family who moves into a house that just keeps growing. It's really interesting because the book is supposedly a really in depth look at a movie about the whole house thing, but the movie never exactly existed... And people supposedly talked about the book, and they didn't really, yada yada yada.
It's layout is really confusing at times. You know how poetry moves around the page sometimes, to reflect what's going on in the poem? It does that for almost half of the book. If a character is walking up a flight of steps, the words ascend the page. It's pretty cool...
I definitely recommend it. whee
