in 7th grade my friend introduced my to it
and i was like thats soooo gross
and over the course of my 7th grade year i grew to like it

Oh man I hated yaoi when I first came across it. I think I saw some Gundam Wing fics with Quatre and Trowa and was just like "No, no... no!" I have no idea when I started liking it... I think that experience just made me curious and I surfed from there until it didn't bother me and then until I eventually loved it XD

Can't say I was ever against it as much as I didn't know what it was....Then my friend Nina-kun talked about Gravitation and I sort of got into it, but nothing big or obsessive....and that’s when I discovered Loveless. heart 3nodding

I was against yaoi when I was younger because none of my friends liked it... or so I thought.
I discovered Gravitation and the wonders of fanfiction/fanart.
Oh how my innocence was tainted xd

I finally came forward with my against-yaoi friends...
"Hey guys? I actually think yaoi is... kinda... hot."
"Really? Me too!"
"Phew! I thought I was the only one!"
I felt really really stupid.

I dont remember when a whole lot when I didnt like yaoi or shonen ai or whatever but I do remember when I started to like the whole gay relationship deal it was durring the summer right before I was a freshman in highschool I was walking out into a hll to go outside to go march with the band ((YES IM A BAND NERD GO ME!!!)) and my brothers friend was out there and he calls over to this other guy and the guy runs up to him and they had a little make out session it was HAWT!!!!!!!!!!! but at first I thought it was funny because they were just kidding but they did it like 5 times and then I thought wow thats preety hot then I went home and I mean I had already heard loveless was shonen ai so I watched that and I loved it then I went to gravitation ((never got to finish that)) and then my friend showed me fanfiction and before then I had always thought that naruto and sasuke had to be together so BAM first one I read was a M-rated Sasunaru one shot I almost died from blood loss

i can't reember when i was into yaoi XD i think i was 12 or 13 when i saw a FMA doujin(Ed in a maids dress with a machine gun) then i got into it more trying to find the story and i just found it!
Well i got into anime when i was 11 and then i got into Yaoi and i been into since! ^=^ and i'm finding more everyday! ^=^ i have almost every doujin/manga book that you can download for free XD ^=^""
so i never really disliked yaoi but my friend did until relatly and now shes REALLY into it and also the Hentai ^=^"

No I can't say there was ever a time that it grossed me out. Two guys kissing always fascinated me. Yaoi just made me fall in love with it.

All my friends in high school were yaoi fanatics, so I played devil's advocate for two years and had fun watching them desperately trying to "convert" me. I was reading Harry and Draco fanfiction at this point, though and was intrigued. Read "I want to be your bird" scanlations and was hooked in Junior year.
Haven't looked back since. heart
