Fre was ready to tackle him to the ground for taking so long in answering but decided against it. Instead she wrapped her arms around him and squeezed him into a hug. Despite what he had said, though it was true, she was still just happy that he had come around.

"I was thinking about swimming," she said. "There's a nice tiny island in the middle, I hear."

"Well there's no harm in just sitting, is there?" she said grinning.

Fre gripped hi arm and pulled him back into the water where they just had been. Soon enough she'd forget about the cramps, since they seemed to have subsided some, and she could probably go swimming again. Anyway the water was calming and she enjoyed sitting in it.

"Of course I will," Fre replied offhandedly.

She wasn't about to push herself today. The cramps however had worn off and she was ready to at least take a little swim. Even if they never reached the island at least they could have fun getting there.

"Come on," she pushed, diving head first into the cool water.

"I'm sure they're fine," she said, also switching to a gentle backstroke.

Truth be told she wasn't worried about the two girls handling the two boys. Ausar was pretty low maintenance when he wasn't around his elder brother. For some reason Re liked to pick on the littlest one as if it were a sort of game.

"I'm only worried about Ausar and Re," she commented. "Re has a tendency to pick on his little brother."

Fre giggled to herself, thinking of the two as toddlers. She seemed to have missed that stage of their life sadly, since she considered the girls part of her family now. As it so happened however the thought of the two girls, especially Niday, seemed rather comical.

"That'd only make Re cry," she commented. "He just has this strange need to pick on his brother and be around him. It's just so odd."

Fre rolled her eyes heavenward, "You don't put much faith in your sisters, do you? They wont kill anyone."

She stopped swimming for a moment and just let herself float on her back. The last time she could remember being here was her first date with Raken. And before that their very first kiss. The lake just seemed to be a very romantic and special place.

"Raken, you do love me, right?" she asked out of the blue.

She had notice him flounder a bit in the water at the suddenness of the question. Fre however had meant what she said, she wanted and needed to know if she was going to make this work. If he cared for her than it was worth fighting for.

"Then I'm sorry," she paused before realizing that what she said didn't make much sense. "For hurting you that is. I hadn't meant it that way."

"We're so different, aren't we?" she commented.

Fre wasn't so much into the logical side of things. She liked to feel and experience instead of read an analyze. Being with someone who was her opposite made it difficult to totally relate, but she tried the best that she could.

"I know I should have told you," her voice was very sad. "But I really was afraid that you wouldn't understand. That you'd close up again."
