Victor chuckled and shook his head slowly. Figures, oh well, none of his concern, he would sit here and wait. Tho, seeing how Dil reacted make Victors fingers twitch....
Five minutes alone with that child would do terrible things to the boy, so Victor would have to make sure he didn't get too close, or get the brat dumped on him, because the boy would get chewed out, kid or no.

Kaelin frowns trying go after Mel only to get Dil little arms around her elgs. Looking down at him her anger vanish instantly as she saw his face. Bending down she picks him up giving him a kiss on the cheek "Just don't do that again, you had mommy scared." looking toward Mel she chuckles shaking her head "Mind catching Mell for me Vic, please?"
Mel kept running towards the water, but instead he duck under the bridge attempting to hide. covering his mouth he keeps giggling. He wasn't really good at the hiding thing, but he knew that as long as his mother was holding Dil he wouldn't be in trouble.
Dil lays his head on his mother shoulder smiling alittle. He knew what he was doing with his sad face, they never got in trouble because of it. Giggling he wraps his small arms around his mother's neck holding close to her.
Nerinda opens her eyes giggling at them before she goes over to stand near Kaelin watching them all. The small made her want to play.

"Catching" was not something Victor did, so instead, he flung a Kunai on the opposite side fo the bridge, then tossed another to deflect it towards the little boy's foot. It wouldn't hit it, not unless Mel jumped into the thing, but it would make noise and raise dirt and be a threat.
Victor was pretty good with his Kunai, he rarely ever missed, and when he did miss, well... it was usually intentonal.

Kaelin eyes widen in shock as she saw the kunai fly, paling she looks at her brother. If looks could kill he would have been dead, as her mother side wanted to do just that at this point. Shaking her head she looks down at the naiad child arching a small brow before picking her up also.
Mel jump slightly startled at the kunai, running out from under the bridge he look up at Victor trying to give him an angry face. Picking up a small rock he threw it at his leg. He didn't like that he startled him at all, he also didn't like that he was spoiling his fun.
Dil giggles looking over at the small girl waving his hand. She was new and wasn't her brother that for sure. He watch her trying to figure out if she was nice or not.
Nerinda smiles as she picked up, laying her head on the older pae'il shoulder she studies the Dil for a moment before returning his small wave.

Victor smirked. "He's got spunk," He nodded his head, and moved, retreiving his Kunai, putting them away. But Kaelin should learn better, Victor and kids were not a good mix, and Victor was not going to chase children, he figured they had two perfectly good legs, and he had his Kunai, if they couldn't get out of the way, their issue, not his.
He wasn't all that kind of a person after all.

Kaelin blushes alittle as she chuckles "I think he got my temper, Dil much like his father, very calm." she gives her son a kiss on the cheek before setting both the little kids down. Shaking her head she chuckles wondering when her son's became so different.
Mel kept staring at the bigger man, no fear in his eyes. He was mad and wanted him to pay for startling him. Looking around again he was trying to find another rock to throw at his feet.
Dil frowns slightly before he looks over at the girl. Waving again he chuckles before he pokes her slightly in the side only to take off running away from her.
Nerinda laughs as she takes off after him her hands out in front of her as she tries to tag Dil back.

Victor chukcled, and reached into his kunai pocket again. Smirking he chucked another, this one tho, was geared so that it would lad flat that the child's feet read for use. "Try that kid," He smirked, not even looking at Kealin.
This would be interesting to see, weather or not the kid was the revengeful sort.

Kaelin gasps before her hands went to her hip "Vic take that back from him, he too young to even touch a weapon. Nor will he ever for that matter." she couldn't believe that her brother was allowing her kid mess with a weapon. They weren't for kids.
Mel tilts his head loking at the kunai for a moment before he covers his ears from his mother yelling. Frowing he shakes his head before he leans down carefully picking it up by the handle. Looking it over a smile forms at his lips as he looks at Victor. The smile wasn't normal at all, it was one a child would do when they wanted to do something bad.
Dil kept running down the shoreline near the water keeping a fair distance away from Nerinda. Laughing he turns then leasp at her catching her as he fell into the water.
Nerinda gasp before a laugh escape her lips as she splashed at Dil.

Victor smiled, completely ignoring Kaelin at his moment, his eyes were locked on Mel. "That's right you little dastard... Give into the anger, the hatered..." the smile on his lips could only be classified as dark. "Feel those negative emotions, give into them, you know what you want to do with that don't you, you want Uncle Victor to hurt... Well then, make Uncle Victor hurt..."
He was a child after all, the worse he could do was scratch him.

Kaelin couldn't believe her ears nor her eyes. Feeling her heart sink she glares at her brother her own anger building as she clench her fist. It was the insult more then anything that hurt her. But it coming from her brother had to be the worse of it all. Looking down at her son "Melanion put that kunai down now." her voice was filled with her anger she was holding right now for her brother.
Mel winces hearing his name, like all children the full name was never a nice thing to hear. Frowning he set the kunai down before backing away from it. Turning he looks at his mother slightly anger at her for not allowing him to at least try it out. He wasn't going to hurt anyone, he just wanted to see how it work.
Dil looks up from playing tag hearing the anger in his mother's voice. Frowing he looks at Nerinda before he tags her again. He figure as long as he didn't hear his name he wasn't in trouble.
Nerinda sat there in the shallow end for a moment, if only to allow the water to seep back into her dry skin. Splashing a few times she stands then continues to chase after Dil.

Victor walked forwards and picked his Kunai up, putting it away. "You're only hurting him in the long run you know," He told her as he straighted up and looked her dead in the eye. He felt no remorse for anything he said or had done, after all, it had only been to give the child his due course if he'd wanted to strike back.
"He'll need to learn how to defend himself sometime, the both of them will, better now than later," He did not want to admit that he loved his sister, but he did, in a strange, loose sort of way. Victor could be loyal, he just had issues being emotional, he saw things as the greys they were, because nothing is ever right or wrong.
"Why not let him try? See what he can do?" Victor was the Devil's Advocate.

Kaelin bent down picking up Mel as she held him close to her "I will not lose him Victor I just got him back. He can learn when he older. Right now I'm more mad at you and what you called him..." tears ran down her face but she didn't care "How could you? I won't judge you, but right now you have hurt me worse then anyone including Thom." turning away from him she holds Mel tightly as he tried to get free from her hold.
Mel whimpers slightly pushing at his mother's hands. No, this wasn't fair. he wanted to learn and was very eager to. He didn't want to be cuddled and protected all his life.
Dil eyes widen when he saw his mother's tears. Frowning her runs towards her forgetting about the other child for a moment. He wanted to make his mother smile again.
Nerinda frows before she sat down in the water again crossing her small arms. Now she didn't have anyone to play with and it was all the big pae'il fault.

"Oh well PARDON ME!" Victor said, waving a hand in the air. "Oh gee, I called a child a name which he won't understand for prehaps a quite long while, and you get all fincky! WOMEN!" He tossed up his hands in digust. "I'm not going to apologize if that's what you're thinking, I called him a dastard, la-de-freaking-da! If he knows what it means no fault of mine, but personally I feel that a good vocabularly of swears is fitting anyone, it's good to know a fitting curse for a situation," In truth, Victor taunted people, and that had been a taunt, and Kaelin was just being a whiny little female and Victor was done.
"If or when you get done pampering your children and making them soft little sacks of sorry, I will be over round about there," He pointed randomly off, and started walking.

Kaelin frowns looking back at Victor before she sat down her sons down. How he was able to get under her skin she didn't understand, but it piss her off every single time. Why couldn't he just for once treat her like a equal, no like a sister instead of just another pae'il.
Dropping her dagger she turns away from her sons actually walking away from them. Maybe he was right, she needed to let them grow up. Pulling her hood over her head she makes her way back towards the forest.
Mel look down at the dagger picking it up before he look up at his mother confuse. She was walking away from him and Dil. Frowning his bottom lip tremble. He had made his mother that mad that she left them both.
Looking down he turn as he pick the dagger up, growling he throws it away from him if only a small distance. Crossing his arms her refused to cry, he just stood there mad.
Dil was the one crying as he reached for his mother, he didn't understand what was wrong. All he knew was his mother was walking away from him when she promise she never would.

Victor observed, shaking his head slowly. Oh yes, his sister was doing a fine job of completely misenterperating the meaning of his ranting. Shaking his head, he waited till she was a fair distance away, then moved over to the two boys, picking up their mothers dagger he pointed the hilt at Mel. "Take," He said sternly, before pulling out one of his Kunai and handing it to Dil. "Take," He said again, giving him a look that told him to shut his bawling up and take the weapon. "Now sit," He commanded as he sat down, looking at the two boys.
Victor disliked children, however, their mother was going to have them killed at this rate, and shaking his head, Victor knew that he had to bend a little. He'd loved Dru, but Dru had been a special case, Dru was Mo's baby, and anything that Mo had was magic.
