o.O Y u k i O.o Electrash Fallentowards Must you banter everyone who seems to have a disagreement with your tastes it's really annoying. Yes, you created the thread but you got to respect that not everyone shares your views and when people address that they are not being childish and immature and if they feel they need to act that way to make you look stupid...hell it's a free country...or I shall say countries now I shall expect the rath of your reply to my lovely comment and accept it with a grin for I have voiced my opinion *gasp* how scary. Did you actually read what had been said?
"Yes, because it bothers me so much. o.O Y u k i O.o, you can say whatever you like, this is a forum - a place for opinion to be voiced. I have no problem with that which you are saying."
The only reason o.O Y u k i O.o posted in this thread was to get back at me for what I had said in her Spice Girls thread. Also, she also said that she was purposefully being childish and immature.
Perhaps before you comment on a subject you read it first.i'de apreciate it if you never EVER use me again for one of your examples, thats just rude. Ily Yuki.

Slipknot=Gods of the gothic community Stone sour=Nothing without CT
TBH i like Stone Sour but Slipknot are my gods, Corey is my Vocalism idle and Nathan(07 Joey Jordison) is my drumming master. And to be fair, who really knew the facts behind CT unless you look it up, all you n00b say he was slipknot all the way. WRONG he was in SS before Slipknot, Slipknot pwned them in a Des Moins BotB comp and they asked Taylor to join because Andrews plainly sucked ^^ even though Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat is a v. good album.

slipknot is not really gothic I don't know them personally so I don't know gothic and freak is not about clothes it is about your mentality.. how you think live and love. It is not the clothes all that leads to is steriotyping... people judge by clothing so I you wear the tripps or kick wear or finger armor and black and boots they jusge you being gothic is about how you think of life generally just quit giving a rats a** about what people think be happy with your self and have fun... clothes do not make your genre you do

@Myon Telum;; No, Corey Taylor was not in Slipknot since the beginning - you're quite right. However Stone sour ARE a talented band, and even if Corey left and they had to replace him (which, I doubt would happen) they would still produce decent music. Just because they aren't good in your opinion doesn't mean they aren't talented. Further more ANDERS (not Andrews) did not suck - at all. He was just as good as Corey. He sung in a different style, it doesn't make him any worse. I love Corey's voice, I mean, I LOVE it, but Anders Colsefini was still awesome.
@[.Suicidal.Tomatoes.];; You're right, they aren't gothic at all. Obviously this kid is a moron.

MAGGOT FULL ON!!! but also part of the dead generation.... anyways, Corey Taylor AND James Root (i was told) as of now touring and coming out with another StoneSour album, due to their recent sucess, but i heard they were uncertain yet during the unmasked interviews on Voliminal (if you do not know what that is, get the ******** out) that Slipknot was coming out with another album, due to their recent sucess as well well just have to see which one no only Corey, but also rythmist James Root join for the next couple years, and if so StoneSour, then i was also told that Corey and James already missed Slipknot, and could only bear one more album with StoneSour before going back to Slipknot. well just have to wait and see i guess...

Yeah, I heard about the new Slipknot album. But to be honest, I'm not going to get my hopes up. I love Slipknot to death, but they were supposed to be touring this year, yet Corey and James are working with Stone Sour at the moment. That was a huge let down.
Aaand, apparently Shawn's wife is dying... neutral So I assume that he's gonna need time, I mean, would you want to work straight after a loved one has passed away? Doubt it.

I wouldn't get my hopes up either.
Corey and James have Stone Sour with their new album scheduled for release this year.
Joey has Murderdolls(who is scheduled to have a new album this year as well), and Ministry to deal with.
Sid has his electro side project, DJ Starscream to worry about.
Shawn has his dying wife(rumor, but it's possible), as well as his other project, To My Surprise.
Yeah, I think it's safe to say we can't exactly expect too much.

Personally I think both bands are killer. I'm proud to say I've seen them both in concert and have all of their cds. Like all bands they have some songs or cds that aren't that great. Each band has it's flaws and that I'll admit, but they're still great in their own ways.
