I'd rather he went all Master-ish and started taking over other people's bodies rather than dying and passing his TARDIS to his son. As Freaj says, we wouldn't be watching the Doctor anymore so really what's the point?
Also I'm not a fan of the whole Doctor having kids thing anyway... Bring back Susan, sure, but no other Time Tots please...

Freaj Well since this is a random thread of mostly untrue and unconfirmed gossip: Page 3 of Daily Star, a 'source' said...... "Everyone knows that Time Lords only have 13 lives and then die, since there are only 2 regenerations left, the BBC need a plan to carry the show on. I wouldn't mind meeting his son but... its not Doctor Who if ... its not the Doctor. Obviously. Well I'm sure this rumor is Bull* anyway. I heard a rumor (or is it just wild speculation?) on the OG forums that this season the Doctor's kid would be revealed as... Captain Jack. Boy, would that ever suck.

The Face of Bo is just a bit too... well... big and wrinkly and in a Jar. The Doctor's already got his spare hand in a jar. Why not his head as well? Because he doesn't have a spare head!! Plus he still has a body. It'd end up being a life-like version of futurama, with all the heads in jars and stuff... confused
