"Aruna? Are you ok?" Delano's words echoed in her mind for a short moment, and then she snapped out of it, obviously dazed as she nuzzled her mate. The atmosphere around her seemed so thick only a strong sword could cut through it, and then... ".............Aruna if you truly want me to do what's right and be there for the foals, then I will, but if not, I'll walk now and won't look back." Eyes sparking up sharply, she huffed as she leaned away from Delano, standing for a moment before take a step forward, her mouth looking as if she was about to yell at him, and then her eyes softened, and she lay down--nearly all too quickly, she looked like she had nearly collapsed, and she glanced back at Delano, a small smile on her face. "...I thought... you were going to reject them... thank you, both of you," she said softly, but loud enough where they could both hear. She was still closer to her mate than to Rahu, but at least, now, she knew the foals would get to know their real father as well as get to know their, ah, "godfather"(?)... well, she didn't really know any other way to put it... "I really want you to be there for the foals, Rahu. Everything is mostly... my fault. If... there are so many if's." She sighed.

Rahu did not seem to be much of a threat for violence and so Delano focused his attention to Aruna, letting his watchful eyes leave Rahu for her. But he did hear Rahu's words and a slight snarl could be heard in Delano's tone when he spoke, "Shouldn't be? Damn right she shouldn't be. I still don;t know what or how it happened. I came home to this...news. You talk about your emotions Rahu, have you ever considered mine? How heartwrenchingly painful this is for me? you say I don't know how you feel, but it cannot be as bad as how I am feeling. You were with my mate......and it is your foals...not mine" Delano shook slightly, trying to calm the anger that he felt rising. There was no place for violence here and he needed to make it subside. Closing his eyes he took a deep breath. Then he felt Aruna's nuzzle, her calming touch. Somehow it made the anger dissipate. He flickered his eyes open and watchd her stand, moving towards Rahu, before suddenly lying down again. And then she spoke and it was then, her words of gratitude that made it somewhat worthwhile. He would get through this, as ahrd as it was. Somehow they'd be happy again.

Rahu was more than ready to rip into Delano and get into a fight when Delano started to go off and let a snarl out as he spoke. of course Rahu was about to jump at the chance of an excuse to got at Delano but held still and let out nothign but a low growl in responce to Delano. snorting and shaking his head, he spoke to Aruna. " no it took two to have this happened so dont be thinking that. i only said what i did because i lef the decision for you to make. after all your the mother of the foals and have a right to say what happens." flicking his tail, he still was geting voer the shock of now being a father, specially since it should not have happened.

Although she smiled at both her beloved stallions--her mate and her best friend--a sudden spasm of pain shook her enough that she fell on her side, making her gasp. The pain was so great, she wasn't even sure how it suddenly happened. Then her stomach hurt like all hell had lost its miniature demons and they had found refuge within her tummy and decided to prod at it from the inside with thousands of little needle pricks. She gasped harder, and then spoke blearily. "They... They're coming... the foals...!" Her golden eyes were dull and glazed over, and every once and a while she would kick, then let out a hard breath that hissed with pain. "...!" She closed her eyes, picturing Delano as well as her foals' father, Rahu... with content smiles and looking alive and well as she gasped hard.

Delano's crimson eyes met Rahu's blazing red eyes, locking with them a moment as Rahu growled. It was obvious the two never really liked each other and how Delano had tried. His emotions raged and he found himself wishing yet again he had let Rahu die that day. He waged a battle within himself to keep calm and cool with this infuriating dark stallion. And then his ears perked and flickered as he caught Aruna's gasps of pain. He rushed to her side with concerned, wondering eyes but all he could really do was be there while she delivered the foals. He could be of no further service until they were born. He cursed silently to himself. He had hoped to find a more peaceful place for Aruna to have them then here, but it looked like fate had decided this was the time and place. He nuzzled Aruna softly to let her know he was there with her. His eyes slowly wandered to Rahu once more, and a part of him wondered why Rahu was not here to see his foals born. "If you don't mind Rahu, I will lay behind her for support and could you make sure your foals are born safely? Someone needs to watch them come out and clean off the muscus around their nostrils so they may breath." Delano's voice was low and somewhat resentful towards Rahu but he turned away from the dark stallion to move behind Aruna and lay behind her, giving her his body as full support.

Rahu had made no move as his eyes met Delano's for but a brief moment before his attention was taken by Aruna's announcement of the foals coming. And because of the shock he was hesitant to move at all towards her. Eyes narrowed a bit at Delano when he spoke to hi and he could hear the resentfulness in his voice. Flicking his ears back, he didn't say a word as he slowly made his way over, still all wound up with different emotions.

She panted, sweat coming off her body almost in waves as she allowed the support between both stallions to help her do... the thing... with her pregnancy. It was as if the foals knew that once all barriers had been brushed aside they had decided to come. Man, that was annoying, but what could she do? Well, the first foal had appeared, and she felt the wanting-of-life kicks from two others. Trying not to flail her legs for fear of possibly injuring her first foal, she grit her teeth from wanting to scream for the pain. Unable to speak because she was concentrating, she found three beautiful children near her in the end. Smiling with relief and joy, she nuzzled first Delano and then Rahu before fainting. Giving birth was tough. Phew.

Delano watched Rahu as he walked around Aruna. Unsure it seemed, but at least he was there. Delano gritted his teeth, unseen and unnoticed. This whole thing still hurt like hell and it would be a long long time before he was fully over it. It was just the oddest and most painful situation to be in right now but he needed to put those thoughts aside and pay attention to Aruna.
He could feel the sweat, wet and sticky as it accumilated on her body during the birthing process. Delano watched as one then another came until three foals arrived. They seemed fully healthy too, covered in afterbirth and dark in their colors. He felt Aruna's happy nuzzle and then....she was passed out. Well the foals would need to be cleaned and feed but....he was not in a position to do so with Aruna's full weight on him. His eyes found Rahu and he looked form Rahu to the foals and back to Rahu. "errmm....I'm unable to get up right now. Do you mind cleaning them off and helping them find their place to feed at Aruna's belly?"

Rahu was more or less having different things run through hismind as the foals came. only when Delano spoke did he snap out of it and realse he needed to clean the foals off since all 3 where now out. nodding more to hisself than Delano, he came closer to his three foals and began cleaning eachone. it seemed he was forced to since Aruna was passed out and Delano was under her so he was the only one able, though he rather be the one to clean them than Delano.after he was done cleaning each foal, he nudged them carefully closer to Aruna. stayign quiet, he watched the foals for a moment before turning away to give Aruna and the foals space dispite her being passed out.

Feeling the mouths of hungry little foals, Aruna snapped out of her unconscious state, before remembering she just might be crushing her mate. "Ah!" She sat up, almost a little too quickly, and looked around. First, she saw Delano, and she smiled up at him, still feeling tired, and then spotted Rahu, whom stood above her and was looking at... something? No... she looked down the length of her body, and released a soft gasp. Eyes softening, she smiled and then looked over and up to Rahu with a slightly stern look. "As much as I wish you could have the ability to stay around often, at least promise me that you'll stay around enough the foals get to know you." She still felt the underlining guilt of what had happened--everything was her fault, after all--but now she had children, and she wasn't going to abandon them; it didn't matter if it wasn't Delano's or Rahu's children, in the end, they were also hers, and she would take full responsibility. She nestled next to Delano as she watched the foals with a dazed, content look.
