@ Oulixeus:
The Distillers are a great band. I have there CD they have been out as logn as Nirvana has been o.o so kind of funny you bring them up.

No dobut was a great band but it happeneds to the best. Gwen got married and got into fashion but I really don't see her doing much more music since she got into the rap scene bak in 2002.

Voicst great band. @.@ I love this band but it's really really hard to find their music. Punk and they can actually sing O: Oh my gosh it's amazing.

I have a 60GB viedo Ipod <333

@neo: that must suck. I let my sister borrow my old mini ipod time to time and I get worried sometimes it wil never come back.

I always knew the Distillers have been out for a while but I could never really recall how long. Maybe they're more a kind of grunge rock then punk then?

Which leads me to this question...

Is grunge dead?

;_; I want a 60GB Ipod...

A friend of mine actually has an Ipod Shuffle. She loves it. The only thing she doesn't really like about Ipods in general is the Itunes interface. I'm really wanting an Ipod. ;_;

I currently have a mini-disc player! For all of you who don't know what that is, it's pretty much the music player that came out between CD players and Mp3 players. They didn't get too much attention because Mp3 players just took over the entire scene. The discs can hold a ton of songs really... I just find that now that my musical tastes have expanded so much I'd really prefer to have something that can play music for 8 hours straight without me needing to change a disc. (8 hours because I am currently working a night shift where I can listen to music).

Well, I've had many problems with my shuffle. I had to return the first one I got for Christmas. People were reported to have different defects. Mine wouldn't charge, or turn on, or play music after a day. I didn't even get to listen to any of the music, (wat little I had) that I downloaded on it. I exchanged it for a new one, and that one works fine, and I hope it stays that way. Work a nightshift too heh. It sucks. I be on my computer. I also have my sirius satellite radio on here as well. It's in my car, and I can listen to it in the house, or on the computer. I am about to update Windows Vista on this thing, so it should work.

Yikes, I wonder if the sorts of problems people had with the shuffle also happen to the nanos. In any case, I intend on buying the 8GB Nano when the Ipod phones come out. That thing should drop the price of the actual Ipods. I just need to be patient.

Is sirius satelite any good?

I guess I'm kinda into just about anything. I have all but rap and country on my favorite playlist, seeing as I can't stand rap or country cause, in my opnion(sp), you don't need talent to do either.

But I'm mainly into Guns N' Roses as of late. And also Daft Punk. I rock and I rave. Tis how I live my life.

Yea. It's pretty good. Some days you will get good resemption. Some days, you will get bad. It has to be mounted at the highest level on your car. Nano's are supposed to be good quality. I've heard lots of things about them.

It's definitely been a while guys but good news is I'm back for a little bit to bring you another update! I just put four more CDs onto my laptop prior to logging on. Here they are:

Incubus - Morning View
Incubus is classic! If you haven't heard'em then at least give them a chance. They're definitely a rock band with some real neat sound. Just give'em a try if that's your flavour. ^_^

Billy Talent - Self-titled
This is definitely one of those new kind of punk bands. I hear'em called 'Screamo' pretty often. In any case, they aren't new themselves. They have about two albums. This is their first. Actually, hold off on that, they may have more than two. This is probably just their first really big one.

Silverchair - Frogstomp
Another older band. This is their first CD though. I just sort of decided to go back in time with them though because I wasn't too interested in their newer stuff. In any case, they are talented from first to latest CD and definitely worth a listen. Another rock genre here.

DJ Champion - Chill'em All
This guy I don't really know much about. He's from Montreal or something. His music is pretty neat. Hard to explain it but definitely worth giving it a listen to if you're into uh.. I guess it's dance. It's just really well done. Give it a go. ^_^ Don't be shy to try and such.

Until next time, everyone!

I have my techno moments too. I play a lot of DDR though I'm not sure that DDR music falls under techno. That and I have a theory that if you weren't in your late teens during the 90s then you probably leant more towards that techno-dance genre of music that was around for a little while. Later leaning into pop music. There are exceptions of course.

Funny thing about Billy Talent though is that I went to the same high school as they did. I may have been in grade 9 while the drummer was in his last year. I don't quite remember. To say the least, we weren't even acquaintances but we shared the same music teacher. Lead to a lot of neat stories.

^^ there is a time and place for it. Like just last week!....Nevermind >.> <.< *cough* Yep DDR counts. Well that or in your 20's ^^; Pop music has had a strang role in our sub generation. Music changes just about as fast as fashion does.

XD Sounds like fun. I don't have any famos kids that went to my school but I am related to a band that preformed at ozzfest...I need to remeber their name u.u;;

I agree. Music does tend to be a fashion statement these days. I plain all out advertisement. Even the bands I like (while I still enjoy them) have become more commercial sounding.

Oo, ozzfest is nice. I'd like to go to it one day.

Like Radio head or the shins (what were they thinking)

if you want to get a tatto and go to a concert at the same time that is the one to go too.
