Does that mean I'm so dead for liking Natalia, Fumie? xD

*coughlatepost*

No, yew isn't dead :3 Natalia's alright; dun like her attitude...but her spells/MA kick butt xD That's her saving grace.

~*~

D: PEOPLE HATE TOL!? B-But...I really like that game. It was different than ToA and ToS; thus why I like it so much.

Ooh... I see.

~*~

This is way more important than the Natalia matter. *cough*

I don't understand it, either. The only thing that I, personally, have to complain about it is that there wasn't multiplayer. My little sister kept insisting that by some miracle there was, but it was only my annoyance. I thought the difference was good; and interestingly enough, I've heard it was most like the oldest Tales of games with the battle system.

The Princess Natalia
Well it's nice to see a Natalia Shrine. I think she helps the group out alot. Her Healing arte's are somehow better then Tears, and she can fight too. -nod nod-

How did I know you were going to post in here..? XDD Hahaha.

You know, I somewhat agree with that statement. Natalia's curing abilities seem to be a tad more of the effective side then Tear's because hers tend to rely on standing on a certain spot, but the only thing is she lacks Resurrection and that really sucks. ): Also, Tear's got the Fonic Hymns, though Natalia's combat abilities outweigh Tear's for sure.

I think if you're going for heavy healing you'll need Tear for her Ress + protection spells and the like, but Natalia is excellent when you need a light healer AND someone who can hold her own.

Point taken.

Tear does win with the most reliable tech's but I myself would rather be able to fight and defend my allies (even when there new players) instead of sitting back most of the time healing and buffing

It's true that healing all the time can become a little mundane, though as you know I myself am the mage type and don't mind sitting back and casting healing spells all day long. x3;; But yeah, fighting with Natalia is quite fun, lol. Go arrows! X3 ( Though if I'm looking for melee fighting I usually just use Luke. )

Well I'm a pretty good healer myself. Advice, don't sit there and let them hit you lol. (You tend to do that alot while casting)

Fumie the Merciless
I never liked Natalia in the beginning when she came in D: Her snooty attitude got on my nerves....Callin' Tear a "servant girl"...That really ticked me off XD

Not to mention she came in during the time I was a Luke fangirl xD
*glomps you* Yay! Someone else that feels the same way way has I do! 3nodding

Oh thanks. XDD;;; I think my self-esteem as a healer just went down 3 notches. Lol.

Oh well, it's true anyways. Blame FFXI ... that's just casting from the back and ensuring you don't invoke. :/ I was a pretty good WHM if I do say so myself. >;

If she had her second special that would be quite interesting to see.

I kinda have to disagree about Natalia's healing skills being more useful than Tear's. As nice as it is to have a spell that restores a HUGE amount of HP like Heal and Cure, we have to remember that it only affects one person. And it eats up a lot of TP to boot. Tear's healing spells, though they don't recover as much HP, can affect more than one party member. When you're in a huge boss battle where they can reduce your tank's HP to nothing, I'd prefer the healer that can boost up my party's HP all at the same time. Plus, she has Resurection, (did I spell that right?) which can be a HUGE lifesaver, especially when you're low on life bottles. But don't get me wrong here, I still love Natalia.

I never really had a problem with Natalia's techs eating up TP once I got the Holy Symbol (or whatever it is--the thing that restores 3% TP every couple seconds). Once she hit like lvl 60 or 70 she could heal as much as she wanted and the Symbol would heal her TP back to full by the time she was ready to cast again. (The same thing worked with Tear.)

As for her lack of a non- FOF revival technique, I have to say that it was annoying, but, I used her in the fight against Nebilim (lvl 86 in both Hard and Very Hard modes) and she was invaluable even at such low levels. Since Nebilim often ko'ed my characters with spells, they'd drop in a group, so, I'd keep revive on Natalia and wait for Nebilim to cast Ground Dasher. Then I'd take the FOF and cast Angel's Breath and revive and fully heal them all. And they'd get Revive which would give me the time to heal them again if necessary.

I have to admit, her Revive spell was one of the few things keeping me alive in the Very Hard version of that battle. If you're curious, my VH team was Luke, Tear, Natalia and Jade, all at lvl 86. The fight took me an hour and a half, lol, but I won in the end.

I dunno. I guess I'm just attached to Natalia as a character and got really used to having her in my team. sweatdrop

Well, Natalia is certainly useful in the Nebilim fight. I would rather have an extra healer than have a melee fighter that would just get killed in a few seconds. But I still relied more on Tear because of Resserection. I'm just not good with spell caster's FOFs. Otherwise, I could have used Angel's Breath. But I usually only bother to use my melee fighter's FOFs because I'm lazy. sweatdrop
Main problem is that my Natalia is usually underleveled, and I usually fight in Very Hard, so I usually just bring her along for healing.
