Q growled lightly at Meru messing with his hair. Regardless, he managed to fit a joke in.
Lifting his free hand, in a matter-of-fact way he said, "You'd think I'd learn not to buy this stuff by now."
He put his hands down and stood up, dusting himself off. "Electronics and living in the woods don't mix very well."

Q kicked the headphones over to the RoRo, who kept wagging its tail, and tried to sniff the headphones but seemed too scared to wander even a foot away from Meru.

"You know you should really turn that thing off before it goes dead. The battery's half-gone." He pointed to it's eyes. "Look at his eyes." The red dots were tuning in and out like a bad radio station.

Q rolled his eyes at the question, a sadistic grin coming over him. "Do I know anything about the Sniper..." he thought aloud. "What a silly question."

Acting cool, and sticking his hands in his pockets, he looked through his romanis at a now blackened snow wonderland. "I know everything about the sniper. Wher ehe is, what he'll do, where he'll move, who he's going after next. I know where every trap, alien, and weapon is, what and who they are, and best of all," he looked to Meru, smiling sincerely. "I know how all these will end."

He got a serious face. "But telling anyone would ruin the game. Kind of against the point, don't you think?

Q rolled his eyes at the question, pushing his romanis higher on his nose, as the snow was reflecting the sun into his eyes. Afterward, he shoved his hands into his pockets.

With a shrug he said, "Seen him around. I don't try to talk with him much. You know, he's a little..." he brought one of his hands out and pointed at his ear, twirling it in a circle as he gave a short 'cookoo' whistle.

Then he laughed. "Who am I kidding, I don't know anything about the Sniper. I wish I did. I wish I even knew why I kept coming back to Zaed. It was great after I left, you know, not getting shot at, and all."

He sighed. "But I guess the fence made my new living arrangements much less vast, now."

After a moment of silence, he popped his head up. "Why? You know anything?"

[[I'm going to bed.]]

Penelope looked around her. She knew that they were, to put it in a light way, ******** for the day.There were no weapons. She glanced at the person beside her, and smiled at her. "Hi. My names Penelope. Call me Lope. And you are...?"

Q tsk'ed and turned away from her, searching for a box of cigs and a lighter in his pocket. "Oh yeah," he said, revealing the box and taking out a cig, only later to exchange it for the lighter. "Yeah, my hidden agenda just consists of smoking," he put the cig in his mouth and began trying to light it.
"... Buying s**t that doesn't work..." the lighter was only sparking at him, so he shook it and tried again. Growling, he tried to continue, "travelling," he shook the lighter some more.

"...Damnit." He dropped the lighter in the snow and frowned, just letting the cig sit on his lip.

He looked to Meru. "And just those things. Not really mysterious. You got a light?"



The Gbot twirled in its own space on the dot of the "I" it had made for the word alien. First clockwise, then counter-clockwise. When Evangeline threw her hands up it rolled over to a tree, bumped off it and rolled around and in between Evangeline's legs, as if playing pinball with itself. It's LCD screen had a picture of a skull screaming on it. Or was it yawning? Who knew.

Sayuri smiled back, rubbing her arms to keep warm. She had been awake for a few moments and had only bothered to just try to keep warm. "Sayuri. It's nice to meet you Lope!" She offered her hand for a handshake and looked around. Two people across the lake and no weapons to be found...as far as she could tell, anyways.

Q snagged the lighter from her, lighting his cig. "Don't have to rub it in," he stated, quickly taking in a drag and tossing the lighter back to her. "Anyway, I was thinking about moving to D4 soon. You in or are we gonna split up?"

Q laughed. "I don't know whether to be insulted or amused. You worrying about me. That's a good one."

He took his cig in between two fingers and looked to Meru over his romanis. "Why do you stay in this town, if you're always afraid of some sniper? I mean really."
