Beaming with pride at Zhenga's words, Guilian looked for all the world as though he himself had pulled out the trees, woven the canopy, planted the moss, and otherwise fixed up this cozy little glade. However, perhaps his pleasure at her approval of the glade could be excused; as things stood, he HAD found it.
"Astonishing, isn't it Chica? This is what sort of perks await those that are willing to take chances with life, pleasant rewards. I found this place quite by accident when I was out hunting for roses....you might call it my own personal garden, at that." As he spoke, the red stallion winked at the spotted mare, sauntering across the glade to the far side where a tangle of thorny tangles grew among the hedge. "See what I mean?"
Smiling, he gestured with a wing to the place on the vine where three final roses, black as a raven's wing, hung on the vine; dried and dead they were, but a sign of what could be expected from the plant come spring. "The glade was an added bonus, in addition to supplying me with my roses."

"Roses?" She tilted her head and then remembered the ones that were sprinkled about in his mane and tail. Interesting. She had never seen black roses before she had met Guilian. Not even sure if such a thing might grow somewhere or how they would be made.
Curiously, she moved closer to the tangle of thorny vines and looked down at the roses that were there. "Ah. I see then. So this is your own personal garden where you get those roses." She motioned to the ones in his hair with a wing and looked at him curiously.

"One of them, Chica." These roses were dead now, but even in the dead of winter Guilian needed to keep his roses fresh; luckily there were several places scattered about the lands where the roses grew, including one bush near the teepee of a friendly two-legger. He'd taken to stopping by there during the winter, as the two-legger seemed to love giving him the flowers, had ever since he first came by and she saw his own roses. But this place remained one of his favorites, which was why he was so careful even of the three dead flowers.
"This time of year, my rose-gathering takes me elsewhere, but I have a soft spot for this little glade. After all, it offers many perks in addition to roses, eh Chica?" As he finished the sentence, the stallion's voice took on a new note; husky and seductive. Taking advantage of her proximity, he once again lowered his wing over her, moving so that her small form was nestled snugly against his side. "Hopefully you'll become as fond of it as I." And with that, he was lowering his muzzle to hers, nuzzling at her jaw and throat.

"I see." Zhenga watched the roses for a while longer. So there were more places where these grew? Well, she supposed that it wasn't improbable. If the seeds could be scattered to different areas and taken care of well.
She turned her head and gave a little smirk that curled one corner of her mouth. "Maybe. What perks do you mean?" Her tail gave a quick flick as he placed his wing over her and nestled her against his side. "I might become fond of this place. Depends on what happens really." Zhenga's silver eyes lidded lightly as he nuzzled at her jaw and throat.

"Mmm...perks like privacy, Chica; privacy to say...or to do...anything we want to." Smiling a bit, Guilian nuzzled at the junction of Zhenga's jaw and neck before starting to n** a trail along to her throat. "Not to mention complete and total comfort to enjoy while doing and saying those things we desire to do and say, and easy accessibility to food and drink as needed. Makes for a nice little hideaway, wouldn't you say?"
Excellant multitasker that he was, Guilian was guiding Zhenga back away from the rosebushes even as they nuzzled; last thing he needed was for either of them to lose their balance and stumble into thorns. Besides, if she was going to stumble he'd so much rather it be into him...

Her smirk grew slightly as he spoke about privacy. Though wouldn't it be funny if someone just so happened to stumble upon them? Then what? "Privacy to say or do anything we want? And what is it that you'd want to say and do?" She raised an eyebrow slightly as she watched him. Having a good idea of what it was, but she wasn't going to play about that easily.
Zhenga moved along with him as he moved away from the thorny bushes. The thought of getting thorns stuck in her wasn't as bad as getting her horn stuck in some branches. But all in the same it would hurt probably just as much.

"Such a naughty little thing you are, Chica, asking me to repeat what I told you so so recently. You give me the impression that you just like to hear me talk dirty, indeed you do." Still, that was hardly a deterant to Guilian, especially in his current mood. Much as he enjoyed her throat, he nibbled his way back up her jawline, finally reaching her ear and whispering huskily what he felt was a good answer for her question...

Zhenga laughed lightly and shook her head. "Maybe. Or maybe I'm just so forgetful that I need to hear it repeated." As he whispered into her ear, she grinned and nipped at his mane lightly. "Really now?"

At her seemingly innocent question, Guilian's smile widened even more. Disbelief, eh? Or was it simply another challenge? "Really indeed, Chica. But of course, allow me to let you find out for yourself...."
