"Really?" she asked, surprised. Her nose twitched again, already rough and of a different color then the rest of her body, part of her changes. It was so sensitive and she seemed to twitch it whenever she was in deep thought. "I can imagine why, I mean you're..."
She stopped, her head dropping down as she ran a hand through her wavy brunette/white locks. "I've known a lot of guys, most of them after my body or my money or a combination of both..." She stopped. She felt silly, admitting this, but her eyes slowly ticked back to meet his gaze. "but you're the first that's actually treated me like a person, not just some..." she frowned, "Some toy! Like you actually care what I have to say..." She stopped again almost chuckling that it was such a counter to how their first meeting went.
she waved it off, "It's stupid I know.."

"E'en when I was tweuh-..." He cut off, the muscle under his eye twitching. His nostrils might have been gone, but that nervious tick remained. He cleared his throat, "B'for, I mean... I knew y'ne'er treat... a lady li'... a t'ing. Them's all... someone's... mum one day. S'jes... manners." The crack addict with morals, that was him.

"I've always thought so," she said, "which means despite how you look now...the fins, the tentacles," her eyes ticked over every part she was naming, "the color....it makes you still a good guy."
She stood at that, stretching slightly and then smoothed down her fur, trying to get the water droplets off. "I should get going..."

"Well, yer... welcome back t'me rock... any time," He chuckled, wet stogy back in his mouth once more as he grinned at her half furry form. She was crazy if she thought she was ugly. As far as he could tell, she was incredably lucky. At the very least, she was still mammal.

"Good to know," she said with a steady grin. She did plan to see him again, whether for this little theatre thing he'd started up or just to see him. She gathered up her clothes and gave one last wave before heading off back to her duplex. In MUCH better spirits then she had been when she had arrived.
