Aeris' death wasn't that sad for me because I played FF7 way later, and by that time, I had read so many things so I guess I was kind of desensitized.
One event that I found really depressing (I guess it's not that big of a deal) was when Quistis invited Squall to the secret area behind the training area, and he basically just rejected her without any sort of compassion whatsoever.

Well, she wasn't hitting on him, really. She just was worried about how he was so closed up. And Squall hates pity of any sort, so he rebuffed her. I think she invited him back there because they wouldn't be interrupted, and she wanted him to hear what she had to say. But with Squall... rolleyes Yeah, he was an idiot for not taking to chance to talk about...whatever was bothering him, but understandable anyways. And remember, Rinoa was totally different. Hell, she DRAGGED him bodily onto the dance floor! xd And stuck her tounge out at the person who Squall bumped into! xp Rinoa and I would be such great pals...

I really didnt care when aeris died i really didnt like her, what was kinda sad and touching is in FF7 when "Red" found out his dads story crying

Nel_Zelpher_2005 Quehal Man I was PISSED when I found out you had to kill the aeons!!!! I was like "NOOO! NOT BAHAMUT!!!" crying Unfair...but it was a great ending, nonetheless. Me too, hehe. And then when you have to kill him again in X-2...I was so sad. Bahamut was, is, and shall ever be the greatest summon EVER. YES!! One of my own kind!!! Shiva rules too, but she doesn't kick as much a** as Bahamut does 3nodding

I think the scene with Yunna singing an Lenne comes in and you see whole scene, when Shuyin and Lenne get holding each other..that is sad.

Final Fantasy X!!! That had the saddest ending ever! I cry ever time I see it even to this day. SPOILER TO FFX, DON'T READ IF YOU'RE PLAYING IT AND HAVEN'T DEFEATED IT YET!!It was so sad... to figure out that Tidus was only a memory that was recreated by the Fyth and that he had to leave and go back and leave Yuna... and then she ran towards him but went through him and fell onto the ground, I cried so hard when I saw that, it was just so sad to see that cry Than just before he jumps off the air ship he puts his arms around her and holds her as best he can.. I just cried

Nope the scene from FF 10 when rinoa and tidus kissed was sad , and ff9 is always making me sad and happy xp

Final Fantasy VII:
The little extra scean with Cloud and Zack when you re-enter the lab where Sephiroth read all those books (Must have Vicent joined in your party). I know the way Arist died is sad, but it's also sad the way Zack died. Trying to give Cloud a new beginning. How could Shinra do this?
Final Fantasy VIII:
When Rinoa was in space and was about to die. Man that music really have it's effect. Applaue to Nobu! Man I was ready to burst a tear because the way they put it was so sad. Then in the end when Rinoas helmet broke and made it look like she died and Squall burst the tear insted of me. Oh my poor heart! Even though I don't like Rinoa that's gotta be sad.
Final Fantasy IX:
...There is a lot of things in there that makes me sad. That had to be the most depressing game I have ever played! ... Well so far. One that really got me is when the Elephant Lady got blasted by Bahumut and dies in Garnets arms. That's sad. Another one is when Zidane left to save Kuja in the Iifa tree. Oh those tears! ARG! I'm a sucker for tears.
Over all, since I love FFIX oh so much, as well with Kuja wink , Kuja's death! Boo-hoo! WHY!?!?
