"I've already told you I accept, and I'll find this 'Vahn' for the sake of my tundra."
Bander sighed and took a few steps forward, standing at the ghost's shoulder and facing the gilded cabinet. With a small shrug of his broad, padded shoulders and a very similar extending-motion of his right hand, the hunter nodded and said in a very firm voice.
"Now lets get me out of this slaughterhouse."

"Then take it if you will." said Ashe, with another deep bow, before fading completely, as if she were never there.

Quite some time later, after picking his way carefully through the bloody halls of the Kyonuske, Bander plodded along through shin-deep snow, turning over a little black disc in his hands. It was about the size of a fifty-cent piece and a white arrow was either engraved or painted on the bottom side - it was hard to tell. And although his ice blue eyes were simmering reflectively, peering at the little disc curiously, his lips sealed tightly, his mind was buzzing. He'd gone to trade some furs, and now...?
He was supposed to be some sort of savior or messenger of something?
The hell?
I suppose I need to find this Vahn person, or at least a means of finding out who he is.
It was at the moment that particular thought zoomed across his mind that the little disc jerked his arm to the right slightly, making the white arrow point southeast. Thoroughly spooked and surprised like none other, the hunter nearly dropped the small item; but being as it was below freezing and his fingers were stiff, he couldn't. What had the spirit called this thing at their parting?
A Wayfinder?
Although a bit suspicous of magic, Bander Tol was never one to deny solid directions. He needed to find Vahn, and the 'finder was pointing the way. Heigh-ho.
The hunter tucked the Wayfinder under a leather strap that was bound about his right hand and turned southeast, soldiering on through the cold and wind. He had a mission.

Chapter 5: Days Gone By ::The etchings in his journal read like the etchings in the journals of all Doctors, sloppy like the hands of a child. Perhaps the hands of a Doctor know how many times they alone stand in the way of life and death and feel unworthy simply writing. Either way, tonight, in a dimly lit room, the Doctor sits at darkest black table and reads...the journal of The Doctor reads as follows.:: Week 1:We have done it! Galuchenshtien! Today my son has finished his the foundation of what is to be my greatest creation, and our home. With metal from the battle field ve have made a foundation of darkest steel! It burrows down hundreds of feet, with many caver-- Perhaps it is for the best that I do not unviel this, incase zhis my journal should fall into the wrong hands. But today, over 700,000 square feet became were finally covered vith my sheet of black. Now, now ve must really build... Week 2:Ack! I cannot shleep! The anticipation is too great! The thunder of metal slamming against metal fills the night sky. I do not know how far this symphony of creation spreads, and I do not care. But tonight the frames of my tower scratch at the sky... Black metal creates the skeleton to a structure which will change the world! Mary said the funniest thing today...She looked at the beginnings of our home and said "This is an affront to god. The way it scrapes at Heavens door...". I could see the smile on her face as she said it. The look of fulfillment...of satisfaction. And what greater pleasure can a father have, than to see his child satisfied. There is so much left to do, but simply seeing that look on my daughters face...and seeing how hard my sons Marcel and M4Xwell work at our home. It tells me without a doubt that I am doing the right thing. ::As he finished reading, he smirked and grabbed a pen from the desk beside him. The compressed arrows which formed the wood of his desk were still blood stained. It was rough to the touch and made a light scraping sound as his finger slid across it to his pen.:: Week 13:Today I understand the Morning Star. Today I understand what it means to rule in Hell rather that serve in Heaven. To burn in Hell, rather than be cold...and alone. I have built my own Hell. And in its warmth...I am home. It seems like a frosty eternity that we have spent in this...exile. Snow falling on our heads, god chilling us to our bones, day in and day out. Night and day, without rest my children and I have worked to build this tower. And a sit here, with my bare feet sifting through a warg skin rug...I know we have succeeded. And can rub our victory in his smug face. The final brick in my Dark Steel tower was layed. And my Black Hospital, was completed. It cuts straight up like a pilar of anguish, straight into the heavens jabbing into the comfortable seat of God. Today as I lay my final brick the sky grew cloudy, and black. They God gave the sunlight to shine on all of us...good and bad. But he's denied us his glory. We placed a red cross on the face of the home. And its glow, lights the way to our home for those who wish to join my family... ::As the Doc finished penning his final words, he gently placed his pen down. With a smile he wiped a single black tear from his eye, and began to stand. The dried bone which formed his chair slid silently against the carpet as the barefooted Doctor made his way to the window beside his dimly lit office. To no surprise the sky was black. Infact for half a mile circumfrance around the Black Hospital, the sky had been scarred in black. On this night there was no moon, only the constant churning of the darkest clouds and the occasional crack of thunder and lightning which shot across the sky, like the shouts of an angry god. But the Doctor smiled. As he started out the window he beheld the ever falling snow, which fell upon his tower. The tower itself stood a full 3,486 ft straight up. Around it were dozens of other small towers almost like a small city. And interconnecting each tower was a bridge, or several bridged sort of like a giant interconnected web of towers and roads. Labs and rooms. But on its front, the foremost and tallest tower, was a cross, a red cross, the symbol of the hospital, and it poured its unholy light forward to all that could see it. To guide all those cursed and tossed aside by god...those unfortunate enough to be lost....here...home. But for now, 3 silohettes stood in 3 dimly light windows...watching the snow fall.::

It was frozen. The entire land that of the Tundra was frozen. The young rabbit who had just pulled into the land was not aware of this minor factor. She figured that it was going to be warm and sunny very much like Latent. With her arms wrapped around her body she slowly removed herself from her vessel and steped on what seemed to be the see through ground. She looked at it for a moment to see there was water flowing underneathe her, how unusual.
Slowly she began to walk in small steps, she was too cold to even consider moving. As her left foot touched the ground, she slid and fell landing on her backside. A cry of pain left her mouth in the utter silence of the winter atmosphere. She wasn't even sure what this substance was called...but it was slippery and it hurt her as she fell. Once more she stood up at a slow pace. She was rather mad that she wore a skirt on this voyage. But then again...that's all she had left.
Her glasses where now frozen over, making her unable to see. The snow white ears on her head fell to the sides and ere attempting to cover her numb cheeks. They werestill unbelieveably warm still. With Numb legs she countinued to wander the frozen turf looking for her quest to begin with this entire time. The Doctor.
The only problem is, she didn't know where to find this man or where to begin. No one seemed to know, but she smiled alittle and shrugged it off. The Tundra couldn't be THAT big. But what she didn't know is the fact that the cold could kill her before anything. And with the thought of her goal in place, she began to moving North. She infact had alot of courage for one so young, either that or enough stupidity. Either or, it was the thing keeping her going till she would fall once more. Fall into the freezing snow and not be able to get up for her legs would be frozen in place. But then again, That would be a worse case senario.
Her Ruby red hair blew violently in the wicked breeze as she countinued to walk forward. She was hardly able to see at this point, thee falling snow was blinding. The feeling in her legs were gone, the feeling in her face was gone aswell. The only thing that she knew that where still around was her ears and tail. Which was odd, she never really even knew what rabbit genetics that she got inserted inside her body.
Finally she noticed a large building a few 100 meters away, it wasn't that far. But she couldn't move. She wanted to but her body refused, that could be it. That could be the Doctor's home. But she wasn't sure, whatever it was it had warmth. Madi slowly moved her left leg with some difficulties and fell to the ground once more.
She was freezing and unable to move. And yet, warmth was so close, but she still couldn't move. Her body wouldn't let her. She couldn't believe it, this was going to possibly be the way she was going to die. In the middle of an arctic surrounding. Her long rabbit ears twitched as they slowly moved infront of her face, trying to keep her warm. With every breath entering her body, it seemed to hurt. The air was too cold, causing her to cough at every breath.
This was infact not a good pickle.

Saunters from his cave, among the icey turf of the tundra upon hearing a shrill shreik amonst the cold. It had been months before he had heard anything, and the noise woke him from his humble slumber. He followed the noise, from one place to another, as if he were embarking on some giant goosechase. From a frozen lake, he did nothing but follow a set of tracks that seemed to be of animal origin. Licking his jaws he thought to himself."My next meal.."
His elongated canines all but exploded with salive, his muzzle frozen over, but in the time of hunting about the lands, he had gotten used to the cold, and easily trudged along through the snow. His dense black fur blew about in the wind, swaying to and fro' as it changed directions unconditionally. The silver highlights in his fur seeming to fade compared to the blank canvas appearance of the snow.
Hair covered his whole body, which made it easy for him to adapt to this cold climate. The weather bothered him not, but he stuck out like a sore thumb, and has always wondered,"am I meant to be here?" His black fur wasn't common among any of the dens about the tundra, and he had met so many. No other wolven beasts ever recognized him, so his hopes for recognition in the tundras had almost diminished, and he was close to giving up hope and moving to another form of terra. He opens and closes his hand to keep circulation going through the shallow veins, his claws etching a good inch and a half from each finger,"I need to scratch a rock" he thought to himself, and turned his attention once more, to the tracks in the snow.
He began to notice that the tracks were starting to fade away as the wind blew snow about, and hastened his pace, until he spots something. In the distance, over a slight hill, he spotted two bent ears."Rabbit ears..." he thought to himself.. "I wasted my energy and time on hunting down a rabbit?" and with that, he twisted to turn back and head home, convincing himself that it wasn't worth it, until he caught the sent of cloth."Is the rabbit wearing a shirt?" he thought to himself, and with that, and a rather large leap from where he stood, he was above, face to face with the being that stood before him.
Almost instantaneously, a baffled look crossed his face. He perked a brow, and held back laughter as he beheld something of an odd origin. There was indeed, a rabbit on the ground, sitting still as a glacier, wearing a skirt. Two thoughts crossed his mind,"who would be ignorant enough to wear a skirt to this place," and," what is this little thing doing here."
Stands silently behind the creature, waiting to see if it will move, only for a few moments, before he raspily calls out to it.."What are you doing here, strayed from your habitat such a long way, rabbit?" His tone is nuetral. Not literally announcing that he is going to feed on the beast, but letting it know that it was on thin ice, so to speak, with him. With this, he shifts his form to that of a pure wolf, as to not alert the being when it turned to gaze at him, thinking that the large bulk of his were form would rather frighten it.

She slowly looked up from the snow to see who was speaking. Beofre she could speak she coughed a bit as she was still unadjusted to the weather. But once she realized who was infront of her she yelped and jumped back a bit causing her legs to freeze a bit.
"I'm...Looking for the Doctor." replied Madi as she coughed yet again into her gloved hands. She was cold and feeling rather ill still, her sapphire hair frozen as she countinued to look at him. She wondered if this creature of the snow would know what she was talking about.
Slowly, she attempted to stand up to move about. But her legs were too cold, to frozen in place. She sighed with a shudder as she wrapped her crimson red coat around her tightly feeling the essence of fear fill inside her. She was infact frightened, she was alone in an unknown land, unable to move and with a frightening black animal.
A few more harsh coughs were realeased from her throat in pain. She winced after each one. Rubbing her throat lightly, gently passing the barcode to the left side of her throat. She had completely forgotten about it...it was unusual, how could she have forgotten about such a burden.
She pushed her frozen glasses up the bridge of her nose and looked at the being before her soon fallowed by an eyebrow raise. She was curious why he was here. Indeed she was.

His lip curls in an animositic manner."I know of no doctor about these lands. You look cold though.." Walks forth beside her and leans to her side, sharing the warmth of his coat for the meantime, intending to have the creature live and tell why it has crossed upon his territory.
"Nor have I ever heard of any doctor around here, and trust me, I know many a wolf that scour these tundras. How is it, as long as I have been here, that a creature such as yourself shows up and speaks of something I should know best. Perhaps we should go back to my den to discuss this. I could build a fire and give you some proper clothing. Tis' males clothing, but it is proper for this weather. I wish to know more of your quest."
Pushes her warm nose to her side, nudging her to climb onto his back in order to reach their destination quickly, confident that he would be able to sprint to the den before she froze to death."Cook food if needed, and afterwards, see if I can be in any aid to help you find this doctor. There are beasts out here much more ruthless than I, and they would tear your ears from your head if they caught your scent out here, so I suggest you best hurry and grab hold tight."
Pushes each wolven paw into the ground, preparing to take off in the direction of his home.

Madi looked at the young wolf, no doctor? She was sure he was here! He had too, if not then this entire trip was a waste. She would refuse to believe it. Absolutely refuse it. She listened to his words a bit, for a moment and was tempted to take his offer on help.
But then it hit her, The thoughts of what Johnathon did. He lended her a hand, he saved her life and betrayed her. Without even thinking much more on the issue she shook her head side to side denying his offer. She wanted to complete this quest on her own, even if it did kill her. She didn't care. She just wanted to get to find this Doctor and get it done.
"No, I cannot take in your offer. My apologies." replied Madi at that moment she started to cough more so and heaving. She then remembered a minor detail, the building that she could possibly be questing was ahead. She had a feeling that it could be there. Slowly, she stood back up and began to walk slowly. But with every stride, She countinued to walk faster and faster. Shortly soon going at the speed of her reasons for existing. She was determined to reach the building ahead to check it out.
She didn't even say farewell or thank you tot he wolf she left behind. She didn't seem to even want his help. And at that moment, she didn't care how rude she was being. She just wanted to get moving again.

Perks a brow, wondering why his offer was rejected. Perplexed by how such a fragile creature could reject any help offered to it in weather like this, but he is persistant, and denied allowing her to walk away without saying anything. It had been some time since he had somebody to speak with. A companion to converse to, and he was not going to let somebody slip away, especially when they needed his help.
Eyeing the creature, he noticed, although now moving, she was moving at a sluggish pace, and upon observing her, he noticed the housing unit that she seemed to be steering toward."At the rate she is wasting her energy, she will barely make it to the porch," he thought to himself.
Ever persistant and stubborn, he charges, ducking between the creatures legs and hunching it onto his back, he dashes to the house, and within sheer moments, they had arrived to her destination. Steam pumped from his nose at a rapid pace, which felt no different to him than it did inhaling regularly, his body fit for the weather to be able to run for long distances, days on end. "I do believe this is your stop?" he asks in a pleasant voice, happy that he was able to help, disregarding the fact that she rejected his offer of help before.

With a few coughs and a few puffs she looked at the large house, it didn't seem very suitable for a Doctor. It seemed rather too cozy. She sighed alittle and started coughing more so.
Her coughing worsened but Madi was also very presistant. She wanted to find the Doctor's home. She wanted to meet him at that very moment. She kept hearing many things about it. She soon leaned over the wolf and looked into his eyes with her crimson red eyes.
"Do you know of any places...that have been recently built around here...anything at all. Cause he's going to be there. I know it" questioned the rabbit with a few more coughs. She cough soon taste a metallic susbstance in her mouth but carried on not caring about herself just wanting to know where he could be.

Shakes his his, unconcerned about this "doctor". "Listen, if you don't believe that he is here," he exclaims with a sniff, the cold finally getting to him slightly,"then what good are you going to do to him DEAD!" He tilts his head questioningly to one side, confused by the nature of such an ignorant being, but not letting that thought be pronounced in his speaking.
"Come to my home, where it is warm, and there is food, and proper clothing for you. I know nothing of a doctor, but I can call upon a pack of wolves I spotted travelling through my territory only hours ago. They will have surely rested over the night, and you need warmth, and rest as well. Please, I beg of you, come."
With a slight whimper, he nudges her side compassionately, as if a pet dog, licking the wound of it's owner. "You will die if you do not come.. what good will your travels have been then?"
Looks about him, and as the time has passed, the snow has gotten thicker, and it was beginning to get colder. The wind became more violent as he spoke as well, and the tips of his fur was now covered with frost."Please.." he pleaded, complete honesty within the hue of his eyes as they looked to her for a response..

She didn't want to give up yet, she was too determined. She wanted to get to find him at this moment, it was that important to her. Her coughs seemed to have been getting worse and worse, some of her saliva hit the snow to the side of them and she spotted a small patch of blood in her saliva. A sigh left her now purple lips.
Madi slowly nodded sadly, she wanted to keep searching. But she couldn't, it would be too difficult with the condition she was in at the moment. She countinued to cough more so as the cool air countinued to enter her lungs, freezing them. A wincing face fell on her face as the wind countinued to whisp around them. She was in pain, she hurt. Her crimson hair was no longer it's original colour, but the colour of the snow that fell upon it. Her buck teeth began to chatter together as she countinued to nod slowly trying to keep the blood flowing.

Lets out a short snort, and with that he takes the rabbits' shirt into his strong jaws. With a slight strain, he lifts the creature from the ground to where it is suspended in the air, and with that, he began to walk.
Taking the shortest way he knew, it still took a good amount of time. The bitter spite of the wind tearing away at his eyes and skin. Grunts began to emerse from his muzzle, wondering why the weather was so harsh, it never got this intense this early in the season.
His fur blown backwards, it whips against his side, but he continues forth with the rabbit in his jaws. safely clamped within them, taking long, deep breathes, and exhaling hard so that the warm air surrounded it.
As they came to the last step before reaching his den, it was a slight leep down a short cliff of a seven foot drop, but the way the snow blanketed the ground, he couldn't tell whether the snow was thick or not, but the urgency of getting to his den prevailed over caution, and he took an instinctive leap of faith, trusting his paws to keep him upward bound once he touched down to the ground. Although his back paw slid, and somewhat sprained itself when it tried to grip the icy undercoat of the snow, he turned quickly, and lunged into the cavern.
Upon entering the cavern, the warmth from a fire deep into the cavern instantly warmed his fur as he entered, and he assumed that the creature was feeling the same comfort from the flame as he was. Trotting quickly to the flame, he sets her down dangerously close beside it, feeling the rabbit needed the warmth at a close range.
"I need to go get some clothing for myself, and you. Don't be frightened if what returns seems," he hesitates to explain," different in some way." And with that, he disappears into a cloak of darkness in the end of the cave.
A bright flash of light follows once more, enshrouding his body in a blanket of luminence, he shifts into human form... gathering his wits and composure afterward, he clothes himself in some nice white pelts, and carries a few extra, along with some blankets, back up the cave to the rabbit.
"If you wish to dress, I will leave the den, and I brought you a blanket to lay on." He smiles, his teeth normal, human, his hair stretching down past his soulders, black, with silver highlights all about it, his facial features sharp and keen. The only feature about him that has not changed is his light blue eyes. Still as they would be if he were in wolven or were form.
"If you are hungry, I have fish and venison, along with a few fresh vegetables in the back of the cave where it is much colder. I will get them if you wish, but if you just wish to rest, by all means rest.." he explains with in a pleasant manner, trying to make her dire situation seem better.

Madison didn't seemed infact very shocked about the wolf changing into his human form. She simply shrugged it off. It wasn't the most strangest things she had ever seem. Infact it was far from it, she had seen many things in her life and that wasn't the strangest.
Rather than laying on the blanket as a bed. She quietly wrapped it around her body. Gazing into the fire in thought, she didn't want to be there. She wanted to be searching for The Doctor. But she still couldn't feel her long legs, she couldn't feel her throat. In the silence, she countinued to think of recent events.
It was soon broken by her harsh coughing yet again which caused her face to wince sharply with each cough. She clutched her chest sharply for a moment then let go when she finished. Slowly her eyes fell upon the young man and a memory hit her. She quickly shoot it off.
"...At Dawn I leave....Alone. I need to find this gent on my own." ordered Madi with a very strict ton. Soon fallowed by the harsh coughing again. She wasn't even sure what she did, but it was infact very painful. She coutinued to have the blanket tightly around her as she gazed outside, already she wanted to leave.
