Yume sat back and enjoyed the ride. The wind in her hair and ears felt good. Just as she was relaxing back into the seat, she felt the car come to a stop.
Blinking a few times to regain her thoughts, she looked around and blinked seeing the area. Slipping out of the car slowly, she turned and looked back at Zuko. "Where are we?" She asked leaning against him and looking up the stairs. Where they disappeared, she was interesting in finding out where they went but she was sure Zuko had plans of his own.

"Ah! Zuko!" She gasped feeling the cloth over her eyes. Turning her head, she sighed. "I can't see a thing. Just...black." She said tapping her hand on the car. "What are you planning now?" She smirked turning her ears to try and find him.

Sirene Naiads "Ah! Zuko!" She gasped feeling the cloth over her eyes. Turning her head, she sighed. "I can't see a thing. Just...black." She said tapping her hand on the car. "What are you planning now?" She smirked turning her ears to try and find him.

Yume held onto his hand tightly as she felt her feet hit the steps. She was happy he was moving slowly as she couldn't tell where she was or what was going on. Suddenly she felt him stop and his hand on her shoulders. Taking the hint, she sat down on the wooden step and wrapped her tail around her leg.
Where are we... She thought as she listened for his foot steps but instead hurt very little but a fabric in the wind and then the click of something. But her nose told her something was burning, something had food around and there was one other scent. Much like water.
Hearing his voice, she stood up and pulled off the blindfold slowly as she adjusted her eyes to the light again. As he came into view, she smiled but blinked as he moved. It was then her eyes took in the sight. "Zuko! It's beautiful!" She smiled up at him and walked slowly over to the blanket/sheet. "You really outdid yourself." She smiled softly back at him.

He smiles happily. "So you like it?" He grins again, and leads her over by taking her hand. "Have you ever been to the beach before? This one is the cleanest and prettiest one I've seen, it's got no trash or anything like most other public beaches." He is still smiling. "Oh yeah, and I brought lots of different food to. There's turkey sandwiches, tuna salad, and some more stuff." He points to each in turn, waving his hand vaguely above the drinks and chips.

"Zuko..." She smiled and looked back at him. "I completely love it!" She smiled throwing her arms around him and hugging him before letting go and moving towards the sheet. Kneeling down on it, she smiled and looked at everything. "Seems you had no idea what I like so you brought everything." She smirled and looked out to the sea. "Oh, and no, I really haven't been to many beaches. It's perfect."

He hugs her in return, and sighs in relief as she turns to the blanket. Good, she likes it... I was so afraid she wouldn't! @_@ He smiles again, putting a hand in his pocket and rubbing the back of his neck with his other hand. "Yeah, I kinda had to wing it with the food... I just did stuff I thought you'd like, like tuna and turkey. I know I certainly like them." He grins, before plopping down on the blanket as well, and taking one of the turkey sandwhiches out of the box.

Yume smiled and nodded picking up a root beer from the others. "You guessed well. Turkey and Chicken are my favorite things. Tuna is good too." She smiled taking a sip from the can before reaching for a sandwhich herself. "This looks so good." She smiled taking a small bite and smiling. "And it is." She purred eating it slowly.

Yume giggled looking over at him. "Tell her I think it's great." She smiled taking another bite and turning her eyes to the moon in the water. "I can cook a bit. Mom normally does most of it so I'm learning too. She thinks we all need to learn." She giggled and nodded. "I'm sure you will learn soon."

"That is true." Yume said nodding a few times. "I don't any of us have a 'normal' household. Your's mostly." She smirked softly over at him as she finished off another chip, watching to make sure she didn't dump salsa down the front of her shirt.
As she started to reach for another one, she paid no mind to Zuko moving out of the coner of her eye. It was then her ears caught the sound of music and twitched lightly before she looked up giving him a small confused look before softening her face with a smile. Leaning back and shaking her head, she turned to the basket. "So Zuko, what else do you have in there?"
