The linoess blinked, peering underwater, waching Ger swim underher with curiosity. G This lion was desperate, wasn't he? She paddled after him, walking out of the water when she could reach ground, then laying down, front side on Ger's shoulders.
"Ger is silly! " She flicked her wet tail, fur clinging to her whole body. "What if one day Ger has to swim? " She asked playfully, tugging on his ear.

Ger panted to catch his breath and glared up at her. He reached out getting hold of her, picking himself up until he was mere inches from her face.
"Well, then I will learn then."
He smiled and licked her forhead.
"Look, Kimmy, I've very tired..."

She blinked, then grinned meekly, almost as if she were a cub haaving done smething wrong. "Does Ger think he can go up? " She motioned to the space behind here, and the mountain was in view. Despite Kimaji's punyness, skinny and perhaps slightly weak build, she was used to loping up here quite easly, she knew how slippery the rocks were, but there was no easy path up.
'cause Kimaji's cave is all at the top. " She pulled away a bit toturn and look at the mountain, then back at Ger.

Ger looked up. The sight of the moutain made his ears fall a bit. Crap... they picked up again and he turned back to her. He smiled softly, charmingly, sweetly, and licked her again.
"I would if you wanted me too. I would gladly climb it with you."
He replied softly. He got to his feet, shaking his fur of the wet drops and brushed them down again. He had grown a lot since she and he met first, a lot in fact that he could have been described as an adult or even a father. He came to her side and looked up.
"Would you like to start?"

"Well, Ger wanted to sleep, so its up to Ger. " She smiled, then trotted towards the mountain, the land slowly beginning to slope, not like tree's who just popped out of nowhere, or looked like it to the adolescent.
"Kimaji can go first." She nodded, flicking her tail. They lived high in the mountains, but it wasn't an insane hike, but frustratingly uphill, especially if one was tired. It was perhaps a wonde rsuch a lean, frail creature like Kimaji could manage this; she was far from strong, her ribs were more visible then others, as lion ribs were usually always visible, but not so much. She was also smaller, but she wasn't unhealthy, either.

Ger chuckled and remained close behind her.
"Well, either way, tired or not, I am willing to follow you anywhere, Kimmy." he smiled and looked up to the moon. It was bright out tonight, it's light gleaming and shining down on the jungle. Kimaji lived in a very nice place, he sort of liked it too. And that lake there...it was just breath-taking. His ears fell back for a second. He had promised that he'd take Trina here one time. He never fufilled that promise....
"Kimmy...did you really miss me all those moons I was gone? I mean really miss me? Even hate me a little?"

She was pretty simple. The young linoess continued on as theterrain started to slope. Bt then the male spoke again, more like a question, then she blinked, turning so quickly that she almost bumped into the golden male. Why was he asking if she hated him? Yes, odd as it seemed, she knew what hate was, not that there was anything she hated.
"Kiaji missed Ger... but why would she hate him? " She smiled, flicking her tail. "Ger has other things he has to do, right? He doesn't have to stay with Kimaji the whole time. Whydoes Ger ask? " She sat down, curling her tail around her paws and looking at the lion, awaiting an answer.

Ger tried to move around her, but it seemed that if he did the chance of falling off the cliffside was almost 99%. Maybe he could jump over her....He looked back at her as she looked back at him. No, that would be too rude, especially for him to Kimaji. He just smiled sweetly and purred quietly.
"Well, I do have other things to do, but friends visit each other a lot don't they? Sorry I didn't come earlier, Kimmy....I sort of got lost," he chuckled heartfully. "I just think some may be mad at me for not coming back from disappearing all of a sudden. I....just don't want to upset anyone, you know?"
He smiled and nuzzled her softly.
"I am glad you aren't mad at me, Kimmy. Thank you. .....Think we could keep moving?"

She shrugged quietly, getting back up onto all fours. She looked around. They weren't that far over the base of the ountain, she assumed, as there were still a few too many trees around to be so high.
"Who else does Ger think is mad at him? " she asked, looking back at him, but turning and continuing to head up an easier path up. "And its ok! Kimaji didn't go visit Ger either, right? " Kimaji looked back at him, a smile on her face.
"Kay. Be careful. " Maybe she should have been carefull. She forgot that rock that'd been loose, and when she moved and stepped on it, it dislodged. Blue eyes widened in suprise, but all she lost was her footing, or almost did, as her left paw went a bit lower than ground, wich felt pretty awkward, but balance regained, the lioness evoided the hole carefully.
"Kimaji forgot about that rock. " She looked back, almost like a cub that'd just tripped and fallen onto the ground while trying to prove how sleek and talented it was; embarrased.

Ger almost lunged out to grab her, still he didn't feel comfortable with her. He reached out and tapped her hip slightly. His eyes turned into worry and looked upon her.
"You alright, Kimmy? You're not hurt are ya?" he asked softly. He looked around to make sure that there wasn't a chance that either of them will have to go through that again. That was something dangerous, why would she and her father live way up here in these mountains? It just didn't seem right. Then again, the Pride Landers, his family, lived in a rock formation that looked like an earthquake just hit it and it came out like so. He purred and smiled, pulling his paw back.
"I spoke with my brother and well, he was fine...sort of. But the ones I am concerned about is my mother and my...." he paused and smiled. It wasn't like anyone else would know and he always wanted to say it. "My girlfriend."
Trina...oh how much he would want to see her smiling face again. One day...one day soon.

"Kimaji is ok, nce when Kimaji was littler she fell and sh went rolling down a bit! " She grinned. The mountain wasn't really that dangerous, as some others around, with steep cliffsides, where one wrong step could kill you so easly. But no, this one, a false step would probably just keep you sore for weeks, providing you didn't break anything.
But then he said something she didn't know. Girlfriend? Unlike some others, who would probably coo and taunt, Kimaji just looked back at him dumbfound. She had no idea what that was. "Whats that? "

Ger smiled.
"It's a female that I really, really like. I want to be with her, I guess you can say I love her."
He chuckled and blushed a bit, not bothering to hide it. He was actually comfortable telling his close friend such a thing. He wondered what Ez or Trina would think he ever said taht about the female. Trina...his girlfriend. Made him smile.
"How much further do you think it is, Kimmy?"

"Ooh. " She swished her tail, then continued moving. "Its real high still. " She said, but not looking at him, for she was taking impulse to go up on a rock, looking around. She looked at the forest, and for the first time, at this sight, she frowned. Slowly, the lioness was becoming aware of what was happening. She'd never seen rain, but as far as she knew, it was the only thing that was missing. And without it, the forest was getting different.
She continued on as the terrain got rockied, with a thin layer of dirt and dust that'd probably give some trouble, then she turned around. She was going rather easly and quickly, quite used to comming this way so often. Sometimes she'd turn and tell him to be carefull with a slippery rock, but the problem was, she was much lighter than Ger.

Ger smiled and followed close behind. She was a sweet female, strange to find that she was still single actually....Ez had a family....wait, was it possible that Trina had a family too!? Oh no.... that would, no he mustn't think like that, she must've just been talking with the guys, right? Oh god, now he had to find her again. He knew that if she loved him too, she would wait for him, right?
"I see, it is a bit high. Just be careful, if you fall, I am gonna have to jump on in after ya, you know that."
He chuckled. He was being serious too. Kimmy was a close friend and he would do anything to protect her. But promises....were a bit risky for him now with the ones getting him into this position. Family or his family....but he got solution to make it all work out. He was sure.

"Gr is who should be carefull. " Kimaji said playfully, looking back and sticking her tongue out, before gaining speed. She remembered the first time she'd rushed down the mounttains with Swaii vaguely, but she wouldn't forget stumbling around so goofly. But she knew how to do it now, and she did it so often, it almost came automatically.
"Hurry up! Its almost night! " She called over her shoulder, continuing along, evoiding any dangerous rocks or going near edges.
