Dude i LIVE AFI. The Ending was basically amazing. That song was PERFECT! heart Lex looked amazingly hot in that shot, not even kidding. I think it was a perfect ending to keep people glued.

Yeah, I think the ending was pretty much all I took away from this episode of any worth.

I was pretty disappointed in it. It was a superficial treatment of what's actually a really important issue; I just feel like, if they were going to bring up a socio-political issue like illegal immigration and exploitation, they should really explore it. Instead they barely even scratched the surface and just turned it into another "Clark bonds with someone in a situation he partly identifies with", freak-of-the-week episode.

If they wanted to go "oldschool", which I doubt was their intention, they could have done it without the shallow pretense to socio-political commentary. EDIT: Besides, the premise is tired. It's not nostalgic, it's just been-there-done-that. It's as bad as the Superman jokes they keep recycling.

You need to get over the whole Illegal Immigration stuff...Just ignore the propaganda or what ever they were trying to do./

Not allof they're recycled superman jokes are bad. But I think they are running on a thin line, SMR really cut down some of their ability and free write for the show. They are really kind of constricted at this point to what subjects they can plant on....
