Kaleb tried not to look so despondent as he waved back at Naruto and replied to Keme. "I-I'm okay," he said quietly, Relm had just said out loud what he had been trying to convince everyone of, and so far she had been the first person to actually agree that his skills still needed to be developed.

The small mage forgot about being miserable for a second as he heard what Rikku had said, and his ears perked forward attentively. "D-did you say you and Aiden know swordfighting?" He asked in a very hesitant, yet hopeful voice.

Rikku shrugs offhandedly at Kaleb's question, grinning as the ninja kisses her cheek. "Not in this DressSphere I don't, but I've a few with swords that have the skills & I'm pretty good with my knife-blades all-round." Although she had worked to learn the skills, that they were not at her disposal whenever caused Rikku to think of them not really being something she knew.

A soft smile on her face, Relm leaned lightly into Keme when his arm encircled her waist. She gave a happy little sigh -simply content just to be with him... to feel him near. So happy... I'll let Blondie talk for a while...

"Aiden though... Aiden's got a way with a sword, I'll tell you what! Don't let him tell you otherwise though 'cause he's always playing it down. Plays down his dancing too. Oh!! You should see this dancing sword technique he does!! It's like art it's so cool!" Hopping, she squeezes Naruto's hand in her excitement getting in the mood to go dancing again.

Keme smiled happily when Relm leaned against him, his tail wagging happily, glad ot let the two blonds talk to Kaleb for the time.

Naruto smiled happily as he stood there with Rikku, "I'll be your sparring partner sometime if you like Kaleb!! Oh, have you got your Christmas shopping done? I got almost all of mine done, just a few more to get! But I really need to get Miranda a goodbye gift since she is moving away!" he says, and the regrets it, looking to Keme, knowing he is about to get smacked on his head for that slip up/

Keme groans and puts his face in hands, shaking his head, tempted to really smack the back of Naruto's head. They had promised to not let that information get out, to only keep it in the family.

Kaleb had been too busy worrying about his upcoming test to get any holiday shopping done, although this year he would have been able to afford gifts for all his friends on the salary he received as a Turk.

His eyes widened a bit at Naruto's slip, and completely forgot about shopping. "M-Miranda's moving away?" He chewed on his lower lip, it had been so long since he had last talked to Miranda. He had missed her, but now it looked like he wouldn't get the chance to talk to her again.

Relm pats Keme's knee with a soft smile taking the surprise rather well. "If that's what she wants..." A slight blush suffused her cheeks, wondering if Keme & her... Relm let the thought slide. Simple thoughts were enough for today.

Pouting a bit still, Rikku ruffled Naruto's hair to show she was more shocked than mad. "awww... I know I've not gotten to see Mir in forever... but I'd'a hoped she would have told me."

She looked quite crestfallen, which for Rikku was a pretty big deal. Then she smiled, beaming from ear to ear. "But she's in love? Booyah! That's great! Did he really build a house for her all on his own?" Green eyes sparkled as the Al Bhed clapped her hands giddily. "That is so awesome!"

Seeing that Keme wasn't about to hit him for revealing Miranda's secret, he breaths a sigh of relief. He then smiles at Kaleb and shakes his head, "Nah, that'll never happen!!! I'm sure if you come by or even go to the islands, she is always willing to talk with you!! I mean, you're the one who inspired her how to cook, you're special to her, always has been!" he states.

Keme also sighed as well, glad everyone was taking the news of Mirandas departure just fine. He smiled down at Relm, thanking her for not getting too upset with him.

Kaleb blushed brightly, all the talk about love made him a little nervous, especially since he seemed to be the only one there who had not experienced it for himself. "I-I'm sorry, I-I guess I'm not really all that familiar with that kind of thing." He offered them a sheepish and apologetic smile.

The little mage looked increasingly more nervous as Rikku brought him into the center of the conversation, and he fidgeted slightly in his seat. "I-I haven't been doing much of anything r-really, just working and studying for my examination..."
