A cold and dense air began spreading in the field as the moon came out. The shirps of the crickets ceased, small wild animals ran away as the thick air approached them. Slow steps could be heard from the distance. Crows were startled as he stepped on the dry leaves. Thin clouds covered the moon. He looked up, the moon light reflected on his pale eyes.

Haku noticed a young maiden looking at him from far away. The fog quickly thickened around him as he disapeared in the background. A gentle breeze grew chill in the field.
