(Ohhhhh!)
Kaju sighed at the sound of Rains yawn. At least she was awake. "I promise... I will never leave you again." She said quietly, and kissed Rains forehead. She let Rain rest her head on her lap and sighed deeply.
Taka looked over at Asriel, hoping to play with him. His eyes begged Asriel as his tail swished back and forth hopefully.
(Heehee, the mini-kiss was Kaju being friendly. It is not supposed to be weird, okay? X3)

((Ok. xd ))
Asriel looked up at Taka, his own tail swishing. He bobbed his head, leaping up to play. He spread his wings, bounding after Taka.
Aleraya, seeing that Rain was well taken care of, heaved herself up onto her feet. Her one wounded leg was still very sore, but at least she could walk on it. The rain outside was letting up, so Aleraya thought she should take the opportunity to stretch and maybe have a quick fly.
Rain was having happier dreams now. Asriel, as a chick, had been so cute. The two had played for hours and hours, creating a tight bond that couldn't be broken. Rain smiled in her sleep.

Kaju sighed with relief. She turned her head to the side to watch Taka and Asriel play. "You are lucky... I wish I had siblings or a family." She said slightly depressed like.
Taka ran into the field and pounced on Asriel, he nibbled on his wings. He adored his older brother a lot. His black tail wagged in the air as high as it could go as he played around.

Asriel rolled away from Taka, leaping on top of him. The rain was falling still, but Asriel could care less. He rolled and played, bit and tugged. He felt the complete opposite of an adult gryphon.
Aleraya watched as Asriel and Taka rolled around outside. She fluffed up her feathers dignantly, nuzzling Rain's cheek. She kept glancing out at the playing gryphons, wishing that she could join them. But she was an adult, and shouldn't sink to that level....Aleraya stared at them longingly, final rising to her feet. If Asriel, the gryphon of her dreams, could sink to such a level, she could too.

Taka glanced at Aleraya and make a squawk. "Hey big bro! It looks like big sis wants to play!" He called Aleraya his big sister, even though they were not blood related. He tumbled as Asriel pinned him to the floor. He was alot bigger then Taka, he was a adult but Taka was almost one too! He would be close and also be really good looking!

Akana dipped her head into an updraft, sliding into the thermal like a seal slicing into water. The roaring wind beat at her feathers, tearing past her as she shot forward. The rain pelted her feathers in sharp needle-like droplets. She needed to land. Akana glanced behind her, noticing that Torak was falling behind. She screeched at him, diving out of the thermal. Torak followed, beating his wings heavily. Akana shot towards the cliffs, hoping to find an overhang or ledge to shelter underneath.
Torak's wing ached. He had been having trouble flying, since his epic chase through a human city a couple days before. His tail had been stepped on, and it was hard for him to move it without causing pain. Flying was hard without the aide of his tail, so he either flew erratically or couldn't fly at all. So he followed Akana, hoping that she would lead him to somewhere where he could rest.
Aleraya was about to join the two gryphons when she heard a screech. She whirled around, staring as two more gryphons dove from the sky, right towards the cliff where Kaju and Rain were! Aleraya screeched a loud and angry call, tearing up the hill towards the cave, rising her wings, screaming.
Asriel rolled away from Taka, cocking his head as he stared at Aleraya. "What do you suppose she's doing?" he asked, looking up at the sky. "Oh..." Asriel rose up into a hind foot rise, raking the air with his claws. He screamed his battle cry, flying up to meet the two gryphons in the sky.

  Smexy. X3 ~~~~~~~
Taka had no idea what was happening. He mimiced what Asriel did and flew to the skys to meet the two gryphons. "Who are these people big brother?" Taka asked curiously, he may be almost a adult but he was still very clueless.
Kaju's head lifted upwards as a flash of lightnight was shone in the sky, Taka and Asriel were in the skys and they looked like they were about to fight with other Gryphons. SHe gasped loudly. "RAIN!" She said and ran outside to be instantly drenched in ice-cold rain. "TAKA! ASRIEL!" She said loudly but the rain was comming down to fast for her voice to be heard. Soon she saw Aleraya. "Aleraya." She said as she went over to greet the blue Gryphon.

Geez...they're almost the same! XD
Akana screeched loudly, her eyes darting out at the two gryphons coming at her. Fear coursed through her as she saw the fierce challenge in the red one's eyes. She glared right back, snapping her beak as she flew.
Asriel screamed in his fury, driving into Akana's side with enough force to move boulders. He raked her with his claws, slashing furiously and biting hard. The gryphon he had attacked screamed, flailing uselessly under his bulk. Asriel was extremely territorial gryphon, and wouldn't stop his attack until the gryphon surrendered or fell dead.
Torak stared in disbelief as his beloved Akana was attacked by the red. He wasn't the greatest of fighters, and with his tail injured that was the last thing he should do. He looked nervously at the other gryphon behind the red, flying towards him. "Please-get your friend to stop!" he called.
Aleraya glanced nervously at Kaju, nuzzling the girls cheek. She was nervous for the gryphons in the sky. Especially the one Asriel was attacking, Asriel was clearly winning the fight. Blood was falling from the sky, and it did not belong to Asriel.

Taka stopped flying behind them. He didnt follow Asriel. "Brother! STOP! Don't fight her! Maybe they mean us no harm!" He said then glanced at Torak. His eyes widened, it was almost like seeing a mirror image of himself.
Kaju wrapped her arms around Aleraya's fluffy head. "We need them to stop, this wont help anything. And the one with the red tail looks hurt." She said and pointed to the red one which wasnt fighting.

*dramatic music* Plot twist~!
Asriel hesitated, glancing back at Taka. In that split second, Akana went in. She slashed at his neck with her claws, leaping at him, screaming loudly. Blood, this time belonging to Asriel. His eyes grew wide as blood seeped from his neck. He grew rigid, his wing beats beginning to slow. His swipes become slow and pitiful, until they stopped altogether. The rush of wind came to his ears, and he knew he was falling.
Akana swerved away, watching as the red began to fall, straight out of the sky. She didn't like hurting him, but if that's what it ment to survive, then she would go to any lengths. Akana screeched, swooping off again, as if nothing had happened.
Torak looked at the red, falling helplessly. He tore his eyes away, but didn't move. The red had only wanted to protect his family.... he thought miserably. He glanced at Akana, then to the griffin beside him, then at the red. He scanned the ground, spotting the blue female, and a small human. The red had been protecting that which was close to him. Torak collected himself, diving down after the red.
"ASRIEL!" screamed Aleraya, watching helplessly as the red fell. Then at the brown, diving to save him. The brown she didn't know. She glanced up at Taka, wondering what he would do.

Taka screached in pain. He watched his brother fall. "BROTHER ASRIEL!!!!" He said loudly and tears began flowwing out of his eyes. In a matter of minutes he had grown into a full and handsome adult. He dove after Asriel. He noticed Torak did the same but Taka was a bit faster. He swooped down and caught Asriel before he fell. He gently put him on the floor and went to face Akana. He had bloodlust in his eyes, anyone who hurted his family was in for it.
Kaju yelped. "ASRIEL!!! TAKA!" She said, she watched as Taka placed Asriel on the ground. She ran to the red Gyrphons aid and started to tend to his wounds. Luckly Kaju learned a few things about doctoring when she was wandering the world alone. "TAKA STOP!" She said as she noticed Taka went back to face the female in the air.

Aleraya nuzzled Asriel's cheek, making soft churring noises to try to calm him down. She glanced up at Akana, annoyance shining in her eyes. She rose onto her back legs, raising her wings. She opened her beak and let out the loudest and harshest scream that she herself had ever let out.
Torak landed beside the red, clucking softly. He stepped lightly to the side, watching the human girl tend to his neck. He was about to say something when a hand closed around his beak, holding it shut. "What's goin' on?" came a voice from behind him.
Rain yawned loudly, her hand still around the gryphon's beak. The gryphon squirmed, growling lowly. "Quiet," hissed Rain, kneeling beside Asriel. She put a hand on his cheek, then checked for a pulse. Still strong. Rain breathed out a sigh of relief, letting go of the brown's beak. She wiped rain from her brow, scratching Asriel behind the ears affectionately.
Akana turned towards the new male, her face expressionless. "I have no quarrel with you," she said quietly, swooping down towards the cave in the cliff. She was cold, and the rain was making her rather wet.

Taka let a loud growl come out of his throuht. "Then why did you fight my brother? Fight me!" He said as he swooped after the female. He cut her off and was infront of her, flapping his big wings. "WHy did you attack! YOU HURT MY BROTHER AND I WILL NOT FORGIVE YOU!" He said, letting a loud screech come out. He swung his sharp claws at her.
Kaju ran to the cave and came out with bandages. They came from her backpack. She quickly wrapped Asriels neck up. "Its okay Asriel. You will be okay." She looked at the male, he was in so much pain. She could tell. She ran back and grabbed her backpack. She had bought some numbing medicine for a recent wound she had and she hasn't used it all so she put it into a needle and injected it into Asriels fluffy arm. She watched as the male calmed down and soon was asleep. "There, that should ease his pain for a while." She said sadly.

Akana easily dodged, manuevering into a mid-air back flip right underneath him. "Dead," she hissed, moving her claw as if to swipe at Taka's underbelly. But she didn't finish the attack. Her sole purpose for the move was to show this hot-headed gryphon that Akana didn't want to mess around. She smirked, diving gain towards the cave.
Rain put a hand on Asriel's cheek, stroking it softly. A small tear slipped down her cheek, falling to the ground. She didn't like seeing one so close to her in such pain. She bit her lip to keep from really crying.
Aleraya curled up beside Asriel, her head rested on his shoulder. She started purring softly, closing her eyes. If her leg didn't hurt the way it did at the moment, she would have leaped up to attack that female. But alas, she could not.
Asriel squeezed his eyes shut, trying desperately to get away from the stabbing pain in his neck. He felt something on his shoulder, and a soft puring near his ear, but he was unable to act upon it. His mind began to drift away slowly away from the present. "Asriel? Taka? Stay here, I'm going to go check outside." A large female stood over him, her bright yellow eyes alight with fear. Asriel looked down at himself. He was but a chick, his feathers just starting to come in. He was more fuzz that feathers, really. A smaller chick stood beside him; Taka. Asriel looked up again at the female, finally realizing who it was. It was his mother, alive and well. Asriel watched as the large gryphon walked out of the cave, away from his side. Asriel cried out. "NO! MOTHER!" he screamed, but no sound came out. He yearned to leap up after her, but he found his limps would not move. "Mother! Mother! Come back! Mother!" A hooded human stood in the shelter of a tree, a long barrel riffle pointed directly at his beloved mother. "NO! MOTHER! A HUNTER!" he screamed, this time the sound exploding from his beak. His mother turned to him, her eyes wide. There was a loud bang, smoke curling from the hunter's rifle. Asriel stared in horror as his mother's legs crumpled, and she fell. Asriel stared, tears welling up in his eyes. "No, no, no...Mother...mother...." he sobbed, falling to the ground.

Taka screeched. "STOP! NOW!!!" He said, he swooped down and dug his sharp nails into her shoulders and started to flap. This was keeping from her getting to the cave. "Leave him alone!" He said as drips of blood poured from the females shoulders.
Kaju looked sadly at Asriel then Wind. She got up and scratched her ears. She went to be right below Taka and Akana fighting. She looked up, a few drips of blood fell on her face, it just ran down her cheek. "If you two must fight, at least have a reason." She said quietly. "Life shouldn't be about territory. If you need to fight for something, do it for a friends life, not for selfishness." She said and looked at the floor. Her red eyes scanned the ground and she picked up something. It was a shard of glass that was died red from Asriel and Akana's blood hitting it. She showed it to the Gryphons in the sky. She showed no sign of fear at all.
